Zinny is by trade a midfielder, but in the 2 seasons he's been with us, Teta has not once played him there. I think that says enough about that.

The Bayern links aren't new. They have been linked with him before as a potential replacement for Davies.

They were also primarily linked with Mendy though as Madrid would be open to sending him the other way if they get Davies.

Besides having the ability to invert, Kompany changes things a bit as he may prefer Zinny to help him instill the standards they had at City.

Kinda how Arteta did with Jesus and Zinny and then Alonso did the same with Xhaka at Leverkusen.
