For me it’s mostly about a left footed player that has a profile that lets him cover both Saka and Øde.

He’s miles ahead of Nwaneri

Yes Olise can cover both and even LCM if we are chasing a game. Also at 55m he is a huge market oppertunity.

Although a tricky winger is also something that we can do with. But currently Olise seems like a no-brainer especially as he is homegrown aswell.

Although not sure from his perspective how being an rotation option for Ødegaard/Saka would appeal to him.
As both Ødegaard/Saka are durable (much more than Olise himself) and we have a manager who doesn't know how to spread minutes across players.

Hope he leaves so I don’t have to read weird fantasies of him being a competent midfielder in the PL. Jack of all trades master of none yet he plays like a jackass more often than not. Goodbye.

I didn't even realise he spoke to P**s Morgan that I had to go and watch the interview.

While watching though, I realised he's wearing the exact same smart-camo war clobber in the interview that he was wearing in the Ukraine the other day

Didn't watch all of it but saw a couple clips of the interview like the one where he says he wants Russians and Belarusians banned from all sports lol.

Also not sure but I think he might've cried in this one as well

I like the sound of Olise, particularly as that cover for Saka and Ødegaard in their respective positions. Gives Saka a chance to occupy central zones as well, as Olise can rotate out wide too.

I do think we need a rotation/competition six profile that can pass between the lines, in addition to having good anticipation off the ball. Names that interest me are Adam Wharton, Joao Gomes, perhaps Ruben Neves as well if we are crazy enough.

Also he's sponsored by Skechers because he saw Kane get sponsored by them, actual quote of his. He needs to follow him to Munich, they'll love a Ukrainian there as well.

Having controversial political views is a free man's prerogative. But being an actual cuckold is something no man, free or otherwise, can abide!!

To Coventry with him!!

Unless we do something drastic like move him into midfield, which I can’t envision, this seems a goer.

If not now, it’ll be next year. Basically lost his starting spot to three different players this season.

Yep, Tomi is current starting LB on 5 last EPL games with Zini subbed in twice in those games, and Tomi is rotation/back up LB at best. Zini starts in 3 of 4 EPL games before that, with Kiwi starts once. So clearly Zini lost Teta's trust as LB. That leaves LCM as possible position matching Zini strengths, but does Teta sees Zini as LCM? If not then sell him to fund new starting LB.

I think he’s a great player that understood the tactics that allowed us to break teams down - but defensively he’s been found out. Gabriel had to cover him and that opened us up. Having more solid defensively minded players like Kiwior and Tomi at LB was key for us this season.

Really like him, but I don’t think he will break into a starting place in our midfield so time to move on.

I like Zinny, and my favourite chant. But my doctor said he’s concerned about my heart rate when he plays. It’s also affecting my sleeping pattern. Nothing more important than your health.

I was never a big fan of the inverted LB idea, but if Arteta insists on it Zinchenko brings that unique skillset to make it work. He can be a game changer in certain games and situations.
I do feel a bit for him though because he's been pigeonholed in this role when he's clearly not a natural defender. He's usually out of his depth in moments we have to defend and don't have the majority of the ball.
Maybe he's not dynamic enough to be a midfielder at the highest level, but I would've liked to at least seen it tried a few times. Will be interesting to see him play in midfield again at the Euros.

Would be amazing if we can recoup the fee we paid for him. If Kompany really wants Zinny, they're the one of the few clubs that can offer Zinny the wages + transfer fee Arsenal want.

I mean if there was ever an Arsenal defender that could play in midfield to make the meme come true, he be it.

I think we keep him and Jesus one more season unless a very good surprise bid comes in, I don't think we're actively selling.
Always a tricky situation when a player only has two years left on their deal. With LB being a focus for recruitment this season, I’m not sure how much he’ll play with a new signing, Timber and Kiwiyasu all being options there.

Yeah it'd be nice for us to sign an actual LB, we still have Tierney as well. Just far too much to shift before we can buy which is why we'll probably keep him.

Arsenal Quotes

When we won the league at Tottenham, they came back 2-2 in the last-minute of the game, and they're celebrating - because they're happy to draw against us, obviously. And I remember saying to Mauricio Tarricco who injured himself celebrating in front of me: "Do you realise we only need a point to be Champions?" And he was utterly shocked. So I said "Yes. Now watch as we're going to celebrate on your pitch. Bye bye!"
