Flamengo might have given permission for a medical if they thought the two had agreed an £8m fee but as talks went on they had some disagreement over the payment structure or bonuses, if this is true of course.
That makes more sense.
Why would you turn up with two suitcases if you’re going back two days later? IMO it sounds more like Flamengo are digging their heels in making sure they get a permanent transfer.
Good question for Charles Watts to ask him when he turns up at the departure terminal at Heathrow.
Maybe he's a diva?
Oh yeah, our club is on the verge of bankruptcy so we have to hold the cash hard.
Can anyone track his flight for me? I'm at the Galeão airport for the next 30 minutes and can pull a Charles Watt on him.
just possible the cases were mostly empty so he could get stuff in London - that would make sense if he was returning to Brazil
Some souvenirs for the kids?
I think we’ll look for a loan elsewhere while still negotiating for Mari. If we can’t get a loan they’ll go back for him last minute.
Bringing signed Martinelli shirts back to the family.
Maybe back to Rio because he already miss hot Brazilian women and weather. Can't blame him
This seems very bizarre. Why would the plan be to have 3 long haul flights in a brief period of time? Surely you come over and expect to stay.
Suppose if you fly first class you just sleep but still
Not sure what the club are playing at to be honest thinking they can loan starters from the best team in South America. They’d have to make it an obligation to buy and if they’re not willing to do that it just looks like they’re only using him for 4 months, 4 months where he’ll probably get no game time and then be sent back. Flamengo aren’t going to agree to that.
Kurzawa not done, Mari not next.
Just ran into Pablo at the arrivals gate.
He left England because Charles Watts wouldn't stop following him around. Told me Watts actually dressed like a bell boy and was eating his left overs from room service.
Im sick of the fact that we act like we have less money than hoboes in poor countries.
