No chance we get him. But itā€™s the type of signings we need to take a chance on

There are a fair few other strikers well worth the gamble.

Depay
Malen
Gouiri
Isak
Andre Silva
Darwin
En-Nesyri
Jonathan David
Arthur Cabral
Macias
Vlahovic
Kalajdzic

We had malen and he was worse than nketiah. Would be funny he went to a weak league for 2 years and come back as our main striker

Worse then Nketiah? Malen never made a first team appearance and he was doing bits for the youth sides. Always thought he was talented enough to eventually break through into the first team.

he played in same team as nketiah and was clearly seen as the lesser player. difference is he went back to Holland while Nketiah stayed. There is no reason to think if nketiah went to Holland he wouldnt bang them in there as well. Hell a Sp**s youth player went to psv and within a year he is in their first team getting goals. The mid and lower team in Holland are worse than championship teams

Malen is a technically superior player to Nketiah, always has been. He just has more to his game.

Malen always looked like he had that extra bit of quality that made him stand out more than Nketiah even though the latter was getting more goals.

Letā€™s not rewrite history. Nketiah looked superior than him and bolugon and his scoring record was way more impressive. I would not buy a striker from Dutch league as main striker. Itā€™s a Mickey Mouse league

The only player i would consider on your list is Andre Silva.

I personally think we should go after Luka Jovic, if we are searching for a new striker.

Silly argument. Van Nistelrooy, Suarez, Van Persie, Bony, Pelle. All came to the Prem straight from the eredivisie and smashed it.

Yakubu came from the Israeli league. Viduka from the Celtic, Solskjaer from Norway.

If you have the quality the standard of the league Is irrelevant.

For every success there has been 3 a Kerman and van Der beek. Also this is a player we had in our academy and knows inside out. Btw there is a player who has 24 league goals inn25 games in Holland and thatā€™s 9 more than Malen. Itā€™s Giakoumakis. A 26 year old who has struggled in Greece. Malen isnā€™t even the best striker in his own team. Thatā€™s 33 year old zahavi who came from Chinese football

if you donā€™t think nketiah could do what Malen did in Holland. Then you really are estimating the league.

Nketiah hasnā€™t done it anywhere though. Thereā€™s no basis to what youā€™re saying. Your judgement of Nketiahā€™s likelihood of performing in the Eredivisie isnā€™t any more informed or valuable than someone saying that Malen could perform in England.

All Iā€™m saying is these two were coached at the club and played for us and the club valued nketiah as a better player. If nketiah went to league one and started to score. I wouldnā€™t say letā€™s get him back and make him main striker. Most teams in that league would get relegated from the championship

The club also let go of Bennacer, Gnabry, Szczesny, Vela, Jeff Reine-Adelaide. How did that turn out?

You donā€™t have any idea what youā€™re talking about with all due respect. Malen is a far more skilled and well rounded forward. Thereā€™s a reason clubs like Barca and Dortmund are heavily linked with him.
