I think he adds more fluff to fill out his Athletic column. He didn't know anything about Partey until everyone pretty much knew. He doesn't know targets until the club are happy telling him about them.
Ornstein has never really know anything. At his best he was maybe 15 minutes ahead of arsenal.com confirming the transfer.
