Obviously missing the chances wasn't great but the work he put in to set up Torreira's goal was wonderful. We're very lucky that both of our star strikers are willing to work for the team so even when the finishing goes awry they still are capable of contributing.

Missed a good chance but still delivered in terms of setting up the winner, not much more you can ask from your striker. If he's not scoring at least contribute to helping your teammates score.

Missed a good chance, but he still assisted the winner. In that regard, he did a good job, as we got all three points.

20 goals and 7 assists in 29 league games. Difficult to argue with that.

The only disappointment is that you feel he is better than that, there's something mental or attitude stopping him from becoming more involved and achieving Henryesque figures.

He is doing really well, but he could really be the boss.

Short sample size, but one might argue that him contributing to 27 goals in 29 starts are Henry level numbers.

Because he’s not good as Henry was. Aubameyang is a fantastic goal scorer but doesn’t even come close to Henry in terms of his all-round game.
I agree. But I think he has the ability, by getting more involved, to get defences more on the back foot and thus help our overall game.

He's missing a lot of chances this season and still remains the leagues top scorer. He will have a few games where he explodes with 2, 3 or 4 goals. We need both him and Laca on the pitch, if we want to compete at the top end of the table.

Getting into scoring position is much more important than finishing. Stats proves it. That’s why I would always prefer a wasteful striker, who has amazing movement off the ball or someone who can take on defenders one on one, rather than a good finisher who do nothing else.

Stats shows Giroud is the better finisher but I would always prefer Cavani.

Terrible hot takes
I want him on the LW

We need Lacas game in the middle more

And Auba still does well from the LW

Still true

Lacas hold up game is just soon much better

Way more of a difference in their hold up game than their finishing or run thru game

Brings zero “pass rush” at the top and not clinical inside the red zone. We need Laca in , Iwobi out and back to back four.

very involved but didnt took his chances today.
Don't think there were enough decent chances created for him. Only one and that was Guendouzi's ball over the top. Bellerin created a decent one but it was really well defended. Without Bellerin and Kolasinac, we struggle to create decent chances in the prime area in front of goal. The full-backs really are essential here.

Not the tap-in merchant he's billed to be. Missed a fair few easy chances these past games. Still love him though.
