Really bad performance last night. We need a strong reaction. We don't just need to beat this lot, we need to do it convincingly. A statement win, if you like.

But problem is even with Partey back, we're in a worse situation than we were a week ago. We are light in midfield (an understatement). Our only recognized CM is 22 year old from the Belgian league playing his first season in the league.

Let's not even talk about Arteta. Don't want his templars attacking me or sending me threats.

I think he'll go with the same Lineup today in Sunday.
This will be a twofer: Relegate Sean Dyche and get the three points.

Like I said, I reckon Mikel will stick with the same starting XI that played the pool game. It will be interesting to see how. Lokonga and ødegaard themselves physically in midfield against those club bouncers.

The last match v Burnley, was awful from both teams... important win for us that day, but you could tell our confidence was still on the floor after our poor start.

Didn't even get to see the one moment of quality in that game, as my stream died when Ødegaard was about to score his freekick

Ramsdale dealing with the constant Burnley crosses and set pieces was the most impressive thing for me that day, probably the first time I really started to believe he could be good enough for us.

League is very weak

Don’t stress.
Why? Burnley have a bunch of their own injuries, bottom of the table too, we’re at home. Hardly a wild prediction.

You’re a proper weird ****, you just come on here to attack other posters, maybe you get help?

I don't even get how people are talking about what we need to do to win, Burnley can barely field a team, this is the biggest banker of a win all season, we could turn up at 5% and still win this based on quality.

We'd want to be scoring 4 or 5 here tbh to really get back into a winning habit and start to build momentum after a pathetic few weeks.

These games tend to be tight. If we get an early goal the floodgates might open. If not, it'll be the familiar 90 minute slog.

Seems like i say this every few weeks but we need to stick down a marker today. Get the 3 points in the bag and hope Chelsea beat Sp**s later. That happens we go back to 4th and keep destiny in our own hands.

A draw for Chelsea vs Sp**s is best for us. If we win our games in hand we're level with Chelsea on pts. They are catchable. I know Sp**s are in a better position than us but I prefer a point each for them.

Despite having no starting midfield and no squad depth we must get 3 points here Burnley will frustrate us like always as long we score early the better. So hope the players be clinical.

15 points from 18 last 6 league games with win today is not bad going to the international break and hope we bring 2 players before window close

Hear what you are saying, but it's better for us if Chelsea win.

I would much prefer us and Chelsea getting Too Four, than us and Sp**s...Chelsea have the money, so it doesn't really matter if they miss out on Champions League, they will still attract top quality...while Sp**s really ****ing need to get it, or God knows where that leaves them in terms of recruitment.

In terms of how it could affect Arsenal as a club, it's better for Sp**s to miss out, rather than Chelsea.

Disagree. I prefer Sp**s not to qualify for CL but if we both qualify that has to be better than us finishing 5th? I think we need to aim for 3rd spot, that way it makes no difference where Sp**s finish. As I said, we are 9pts behind Chelsea with 3 games in hand, we have to aim for them.

Fair point, Tap In.

After thinking about it, a draw might be best, bring Chelsea down into a Champions League scrap with us...that way, Arsenal and United can both get Top Four!

6 of 1. Personal preference to have Chelsea run away and us in a straight shoot out with United. But having two spots to chase can be equally as attractive.

Such a must win and for some reason I don’t feel awfully confident, despite Burnley being rubbish.

They’ve have a long time off and have so many games in hand, they are probably really up for this game.

I’m also concerned about our CM area, the 433 we try hasn’t been the best and it will be even worse with Lokonga at the base rather than Partey.

If we can’t beat a Burnley side who are on a run of 8 games without a win and just sold their best striker then Arteta and his assistants deserve to be punished in exactly the same manner as Nicky Santoro and his fcking brother were in Casino. Then fired.
