All rise. One win closer and maybe even the one that clinches it if we win here. :eyess:

Only change I would make is bring in Mosq for the injured Ben White. Think we could have Merino on the bench. Need to up the GD is possible.

I have to bring this title home for everyone.

On reflection, I think Arteta made a mistake in starting Kai, even though he scored and generally played well. I think Gyok's presence in the box especially in the first half would have resulted in another goal.
i think Arteta did right thing yesterday Kai was very much involved Burnley sit deep and he wanted someone that connect with players and Kai did that very well yesterday. however i don't think Kai is even 90 minute fit look like most our players aren't 90 minute fit i'm surprised Saka finish 90 minute yesterday too.

Kai found himself out wide on the right too often. He shoulda been more central.

Yes he scored, but the difference between him & Gyokeres is night & day. Gyokeres offers much more overall imo..

if you notice it because his movement we had chances it kinda disturbed Burnley shape and if our player did bring some shooting boots we'd be like 3-0 up at HT it's obvious their manager fixed this issue 2nd half and blocked that right side. i think Gyo will start last game anyway with MLS in middle.

I hope so. The team functions much better with this lineup.

The duel 10s thing just doesn't work tbh.

I don’t think we’ve seen a big enough sample size to deduce that the duel 10’s setup doesn’t work.

I think there’s great potential there. My disappointment was with the individual performances. Eze was poor last night and Ødegaard couldn’t find his range in the second half like he was in the first.

As a concept it can work but for us it's a personnel issue.

Ødegaard is now far too conservative to be an effective AM. His assist for Trossard against WHU was a literal one off.

Eze is a moments type player who likes to get on the ball & shoot, which is a real weapon to have in the side, but him paired with Ode doesn't work imo. Trossard was the guy doing all the creativity on the left & he made some great thru balls.

Also Ode preoccupies himself with collecting the ball from the CB's all the time & that takes away from what his main role is.

I thought Ødegaard has some good ideas, he just didn't connect on those passes but the intent was there.

Also not sure calling it dual 10s is right..? Ode was playing more box to box with how deep he was dropping. Issue for me was he was also the one on the ball in the final third and that made the game pass Eze by for the most part. They did combine nicely a few times though. There's promise there but part of me thinks that Ode demands the ball too much for them to play together. At least with Eze also in the middle, I still like the idea of him on LW if Trossard's form dips again.

His pants were pulled down in front of the whole world and you think it's ok they showed replays of it? Nothing to do with attitudes towards nudity and sex, FFS.
