Apologies all, as stated previously I have to take the title into my own hands so need the match day thread from me.

Team picks itself really. Same as vs Atletico but Mosq, Saka and Eze in from the start. Hopefully, Timber, Kai, Cala made the bench.

Presumably Eze and Saka were held back to start here. Hopefully they can make the difference because Fulham have been a thorn in our sides for years.

You see what Simone said about our fitness? I’m a bit worried this short turn around will cause some issues.

Hopefully Eze and Saka can bring some energy.

Why give PSG Bayern 8 days rest and us and Atletico 6 instead just both getting 7?

Seems unnecessary unless I'm missing something. Just adds to congestion

We get through this game and West ham, would be enough for a long awaited league win. Hopefully one of Eze or Saka can start and Gabriel Magalhaes keeping his head cold.

We need 3 own goals from ESR, 2 from Iwobi and 1 more from Leno. COYG

You forgot Bassey too. The funny thing is they’re all starters for them. Could turn out to be another Ollie Watkins situation when he stuck a knife into our title hopes then didn’t look too happy 😂

Another 90 minutes for Rice and Zubi. Think physically we are gonna really struggle here. If we win we gonna need a lot of luck

That they knew Arsenal were fatiguing from having to juggle challenging for the PL as well and there was an opportunity for Atleti to over power us with superior fitness.

I'm paraphrasing.

That would explain why they low blocked the first half and high pressed the second half tbh, playing on fatigue.

Think we're fine from that POV tho Zubi and Rice looked fresher than they have recently.

I will go for this.

Raya
Mosquera Saliba Gabriel MLS
Nørgaard Rice
Saka Eze Trossard
Gyokeres

Won't happen though, but we need 2 or 3 rotations to prepare for the 2nd leg.

Hopefully, we beat Fulham & Marco Silva goes back to moonlighting as a Garçon on one of those Nile Party Cruises in Egypt.

Only change I make from this is we have Cala at LB, need to get him up to speed.

Arsenal Quotes

Right from his very first match, when Patrick Vieira was as yet unknown to the English public, he showed just how talented he was. No one disputed his ability, and he gave me the credibility and the hold over the club that I needed to take it in the direction I wanted. He and Emmanuel Petit became a duo that would remain forever etched in the memories of Arsenal fans.
