  • Arsenal are unbeaten in their last seven home matches against Brighton in all competitions (W6 D1) and have conceded just one goal in those meetings.
  • Chris Hughton’s Seagulls can become the first south-coast side to win a PL away match against Arsenal, in the 33rd such meeting (P32 W0 D7 L25).
  • Arsenal have only lost their final home league match of the season in one of the last 21 campaigns, in 2010/11, and have won the last six in a row.
  • Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is one PL goal away from becoming the sixth Arsenal player to score 20 in a campaign, and the first since Alexis Sanchez in 2016/17.
Team News:
Koscielny unlikely to play

Expecting to see some rotation here, but still should be strong enough to see off Brighton. Leno, Monreal, Mkhi, Iwobi and Torreira will probably come back into the team; Aubameyang missed Wolves so he'll probably play over Laca to give him a breather.

Really can't see Chelsea taking 6/6 against Watford and Leicester, especially with their injuries. Win two more league games and I'm sure we'll have CL.

16:30 kick off means no Alan Smith
Is that true? He'll probably do the Bournemouth and Arsenal games this weekend, Neville will be at Huddersfield/United.

Luckily Cardiff play on Saturday already, if they lose they go down and Brighton will let us win.

Chelsea kick off earlier so we should know their result by the time our match starts. Might give the lads a boost if Chelsea have dropped points.

Last home game of the season and a guard of honour for Arsenal legend Aaron Ramsey and Chelsea legend Petr Cech. Won’t be as emotional as the final home game last season but hopefully we get the same sort of score.

Brighton are going to be right c*nts to play against.

Think they’ll probably stay up if they get a result against us. They’ll park 10 behind the ball and try to sneak something.
