    samshere Why so serieuse?

That was by design though, Saka was way up the pitch and Bellerin hung back to deny any space to ASM

Laca with a goal and an assist in 10 minutes.

They have been told to keep the flag down and let play go on. But you're right in that they don't do it.

    No more death threats :(

Arteta- we started to manage the game better after 25 minutes. He says we used the space better in attack and benefitted from two fast wingers. He praised Saka for taking tespin6and having courage! Praise for Laca too and also the reaction of everyone towards him. On City's issues, he wouldn't be drawn but said his focus is on Arsenal whilst sending his best to Pep and City. Good interview from a focused manager.

That's what often happens anyway. When Saka moves up Auba rotates to the middle if he smells a chance.

Yeah its great that our senior striker can show up at home against Newcastle after months of hiding leading us to be as close to relegation and top5! I hope its start of something!

Özil wasn't offside when he got the ball on the left. Despite winning 4-0 the refs still managed to screw us. Would've been 5-0 as Auba's not going to miss that chance.

That was criminal from the linesman IMO. We've got VAR and aren't they supposed to keep their flags down for any close calls anyway?

I think players need to be told not to stop playing and score the goal. By their coach.

Pretty sure it’s tactical at the moment. Factor in who was playing LW for Newcastle and it makes even more sense.

Makes no sense if the ref has blown the whistle. Can't VAR the **** that happens after that.

They should but linesman should just keep their flags down unless it's obviously offside.

The fans booing Danny Rose for 90 minutes, even when 3-0 up and cruising...they are the real Man (or Men I guess) of the match!

If you would have told me before the game that Pepe was going to score and assist two while Laca assisting and scoring in a 10 minute cameo based on our attacking prowess this season, I would have called bollocks on that.
It feels a bit surreal, tbh. We haven't been trashing teams since Wenger was here.

Well that was a game of one half... the second!!!

Not sure what Mikel said at half-time but it worked. Nothing to complain about in the second half. Finally started playing with confidence (from 2-0 onwards) and showing what we can do.

Lovely to see Özil working and influencing a game. Saka is wonderful and Pepe came good after an indifferent start. Pleased for Laca, hope that's a boost for him.

Disappointed he started Nketiah instead of Martinelli but it's a squad game, we have 4 games in 11 days coming up, so can't argue with that. Or with 4-0.

Wasn't convinced by the line up but the second half was excellent. Fair play, well done to the lads, hopefully we can build some form now.

On another note, how ****e is that miserable bastard Souness, everything is about pashun and bashing flashy players (like Özil and Pogba). Honestly, most of the lads on here would provide better insight.
