Because none of them was good enough for their ambitions? Do you see a pattern here? A common denominator?
Kroenke/board with terrible decisions.
You ignore the reasons and you take it out of context.
All you fans who thought a team spending 5th should have the aspirations of Man City will eventually realise how good Arsène was. Clearly you still haven’t learnt yet.

Wenger in time became Kroenke's puppy and he was finished for several years, should've been sacked 2-3 years before, but the problem is that clueless Kroenke couldn't identify a suitable replacement and this was a setback.
Emery was a gamble that didn't pay off and should've been sacked right after the final, again clueless Kroenke.
Then Arteta came in, even a bigger risk, should've been sacked after Villarreal, again clueless Kroenke.

I still don’t think it was a direct result of Wenger’s managerial skills what we declined. I think he was still a good manager and even in his last few years there were tactical set ups and performances you could be proud of.

The issue was that between 2014 and 2018 we consistently bought mediocre to bad players apart from Alexis.

The 2013/14 team had Özil but also Cazorla, Walcott and Ramsey all performing at a very high level.

Injuries decimated those three so we were overly reliant on Özil and Alexis doing something for us because we failed to add necessary quality around them.

Someone like Sven was needed four years earlier than he was actually hired.

Looking forward to a bit of football tonight. Feels like it's been a long time coming. Playing a Patrick Vieira team as well, actually a bit excited about this one, hoping for a Tierney top corner Firecracker and a decent midfield performance. COYG.

I'm crying seeing them have someone of the class of Patrick while we have Arteta, the loser DM who won nothing until he was dropped and Ramsey won stuff for him, the guy whose wife looked at Rambo as her next catch and Heccy as her crush

No need to hope for managers to lose. If they win they are doing their job and do not need to be sacked. If they lose or keep losing they will be sacked. So no need to hope for it.
Rather hope that your team will win and that you were wrong in your assessment of the manager in question.

Let's say theoretically that managers like Klopp, Tuchel, Conte, Simeone etc are available and Kroenke comes out and says: "If we lose tonight to Palace Arteta will be sacked and will be replaced with one of these managers".

What outcome would you choose?

But it will not happen because Kroenke is a coward.
