That was just like an Emery performance. I honestly don’t see any improvement. Arteta is blindly just picking the big names. Luiz, Xhaka, Pepe, Özil and Laca all terrible today and pretty much all season. I’d rather we played Nelson, Willock and Saka behind Martinelli.

Since Arteta took over we are on average conceding just under 1 goal a game. It really should have made us pick up a lot more points than we did. We drew most games because we are also scoring on average 1 goal a game. People having a go at the likes of Pepe and Laca but we are hardly putting any sustained pressure on our opponents. The only time we did was the first half against Man Utd. We scored twice just in that half alone and could have scored 3 or 4 more.

P.s. **** the ref/VAR. It seems every single game we play when there is a contentious incident it always goes against us.

Comfertable for like 20 minutes we dominate the whole game its just our lack of finishing the game off costing us many points. Arteta can't improve the side we have poor players and they iff form let's just admit

Such a maybe player, could easily see him kick on and be a world beater, but could see him carry on as he is now, where it's flashes of brilliance and flashes of rubbish.

I watched all his goals for Lille the other day and his finishing is outstanding. But again he's been such a maybe player atm.

You're being way too impatient. We have no fit fullbacks ffs. Also, Arteta hasn't had the chance to sign any of the players he wants and hasn't had a pre-season. Why are you so desperate for results right now when you know we can't finish in the top 4? I'm pleased with the performances and I'm happy with that. I thought that was the reason we appealed Aubameyangs red card? It wouldnt even have gone to VAR if it was Liverpool. Saw that City got done again by it. Honestly its just as bad for them. Waste of money. The board seen he was available and thought let's by him to make a statement of intent because the players we really needed were out of reach.

The fact they could negotiate the deal about paying it in installments suited the narrative. Arsenal mean business spending 72m on one player.

What we really needed was that money on the midfield and defence. Which because we couldn't get structured deals maybe so favourable and buying 2 decent players would have cost more than 72m that's why we didnt.

Excuse me for not having the attitude of a casual scoreline-checking football watcher when it comes to analyzing teams. We don't have the quality, that's why we are not getting results.

If you can't see the improvement in the way the team is organized, you are either having amnesia about the pre-Arteta days, or aren't paying enough attention. Our midfield offered zero resistance before Arteta because they were too far apart from each other and our defense, giving teams a ton of space to operate with. That's no longer the case, which is why we are giving up far less chances and conceding less goals.

I can't see any improvement. There is as much disorganisation and lack of shape as before.

I thought I saw some improvements in the first few games, but I'm beginning to think it was more that teams were wary. I don't doubt Arteta's ability though because a lot of these players are useless.
