We looked slightly okay against the worse team in the league. Every one keep harping on about our "30 shots" but if you watched the game you can't help but feel that we looked poor for most of the game. Up until last season when they beat us at home 1-0 can't really seem to remember the last time Burnley beat us. Hopefully Arteta doesn't break any new record.

Arsène played Burnley 13 times, won 11, scored 3 or more goals 6 times.

Unai played them twice and won both.

Arteta's played them 3 times and hasn't won once. Perhaps the league is getting harder.
You believe Wenger was still on top, yet somehow he finished lower every year.
Perhaps the league got easier

I just hope we come out of this game unscathed tbh. Some of their tackling has been atrocious this season.

I hope we batter them, they’ve been in the league for way too long but they’ll probably survive.

We don’t batter anyone anymore though so probably a 1-1 draw with a significant injury knowing our luck.

I watched their game against Everton. Much has been made about their set pieces, but it is the long ball over the top that is their trademark. They hit it long behind the Everton defence whenever they could.

It will be important to get the press right if we play with a high line, and we need pace in the back four.

Game two out of ten in my view, and a must win.

Norwich, Burnley, Wimbledon, Sp**s, Brighton, Palace, Villa, Leicester, Watford, Liverpool.

Only the Sp**s, Leicester and Liverpool are games where dropping points would be acceptable.

It seems to be generally acceptable that Leicester’s better than us these days, even though we’re easily out spending them. But then again Arteta’s PR work is exceptional. Not long ago our fans drummed out a manager for finishing below Leicester. It’s a weird world bro.

In your universe he probably won the UCL 3 times and the league title every year 🤣
No, but 20 years continuous top 4, 3 EPL titles, 7FA Cups , average finish of 2.8 and a win % of 57, seems unbelievable when you’re in the bottom half of the league after two mid table finishes.

For all the criticism Burnley take about their style of play we don't play all that much differently to them really, albeit they are on a budget in comparison.

We try and play a bit more possession maybe but at the end of the day both teams aim of the game is to get it into the box. Wood or Barnes would probably be Arteta's dream of a striker

Which is scary, considering we haven't gotten the press right in a long time.

We should be able to play through them & be more solid now we can finally field most of our 1st choice team.
Not sure it will be easy they are a very physical side & our team is young & may take a while to find its feet.

They were the best team again everton for most of the game tbf & they will be well up for it at home against 'They dont like it 'up em' Arsenal'.
