Referee: Mike Dean

  • Burnley have lost their last two PL matches on the closing day of the season despite taking the lead both times.
  • Peter Crouch could become only the fourth player to score on the final day of seven PL campaigns, after Les Ferdinand, Teddy Sheringham and Andrew Cole, the latter doing so eight times.
  • Arsenal have won their last three PL away matches against Burnley, all by a 1-0 scoreline, with the last two coming courtesy of a 90th-minute winner.
  • The Gunners are unbeaten on the final day of the PL season since 2004/05 and have won the last seven such fixtures.

Would protect Monreal/Koscielny/Sokratis ahead of the final, otherwise I'd expect most of the regulars to play. Would've given Eddie a start but Auba is in form and still has a chance for the Golden Boot. Need to secure 5th because if the worst happens and Chelsea win the EL/Watford win the FA Cup, next season begins on July 25 in the EL qualifiers.

Won't be surprised if we preformed like a relegation team after putting a very good performance against Valencia. Anyway this is nothing game we won't be making top 4 but at least let's finish the league above manutd. Agree with your team and I hope this is the last time we see Iwobi and Mkhi starting for us mustafi too

Most pointless game of all time. We will probably finish the season in 6th place. Embarrassing.

Only going to watch if we play a few youths.

Should be playing the kids for this one. First teamers like Koscielny, Laca and Torreira need a nice rest and to avoid injury before the final.

With the amount of time between this game and then, not playing isn't going to make a world of difference regarding match sharpness. They'll be going 2 weeks+ without a competitive game anyway.

Somehow a pivotal game, has become a nuisance and a pointless exercise in futility.

It'll be a boring first team lineup. Maybe Elneny+Guendouzi to get a start together again. I don't think we'll see any exciting youngsters.

Isn't there places 5-6 still not decided? 6th might start Europa League early. 4th place is very tough to get for us.

I think we cannot rest many players when the Europa League final is the next game and 3 weeks later.

Koscielny is the one I would not risk though.

We could still beat Sp*rs to top 4, if we win and they loose and we make up the goal difference of 8 goals somehow...

This is a must win game for Unai. Imagine losing this tomorrow and Chelsea wins the Europa league. It could be a similar season to last year. Sixth in the league and being knocked out of the EL late on.

The euphoria of last night could very quickly turn to anger. All the tinkering, poor substitution and bad team selection would all surface again.

But win just these two games and suddenly he’s a hero. Cup winner and progress on last year.

The modern football manager’s life can hang by a thread in just two games. . . . crazy nonsense of course, the man seems a decent manager.
