The more I think about this game, the more I feel the midfield battle will be most crucial in deciding who comes out of the match with a favourable result.

Think Torreira will start this one.

Would love to see Lacazette and Aubameyang together from the start in favor of Mhki.

Chelsea is the only one of our rivals that had any sort of rebuilding effort so hopefully they'll be at a similar (if not lower) level than us.

Cech will probably play though, as will Xhaka and Bellerin.
This team please agent cech can do one for this one

Arguably a much tougher game for Emery.

Nearly every Arsenal fan was willing to give a free pass at the weekend against City. But Chelsea are basically our level and also have a new manager/system.

Expecting to see Mkhitaryan binned with Lacazette coming in and Torreira for Guendouzi (although i'd personally leave Xhaka out). Lichtsteiner will replace AMN.

Plan B required. First home game demanded we try and match strong opponents, first away is against another strong team so trying to nick something must be the order of the day.

I think 3 in the middle as we are away from home against a top team. If Bellerin and Lichsteiner get forward down the wings, I'd go with a Christmas tree.

Micky deserves to be dropped.

Torreira needs to start.

Hope to see Özil wide.

No idea of formation.

If Maitland-Niles wasn't injured, I'd probably play him instead of Ramsey.

I've got Özil instead of Nelson, but I wouldn't mind sending a message and playing Nelson instead.
Other than Iwobi, Nelson is the only 1v1 dribbling player who can play wide right or left and has some level of pace and/or acceleration. At this point, his lack of experience and stature is a liability we have to afford for now. We lack pace out wide.

Emery needs to get at least a draw if he doesn't want insane pressure on him already. Not that I care much, but seeing the likes of Allardyce and Adams spouting bullshit after one loss might make two in a row too much to take for some fans.

0-1 Arsenal, Cesc own goal.
