Not even joking, how the hell did my boy @Oxeki make it this far...did all his opponents get stricken by congenital heart defects moments before they could set onto the pitch!

At the end of the first film where Jigsaw stands up after pretending to have shot himself, and the iconic theme was born...if my boy Ox was Jigsaw, he would have somehow actually shot himself dead while thinking "Wait, did Patrick Vieira actually play for Senegal..." for his best African 11 draft ffs.

Spoiler: ONLYONE VS CLRNC SMOKEYY UNITED

The Third-Place Playoff begins with controversy as 2Smokeyy refuses to allow OnlyOne into the prematch dining area:


Relations strained after previous respect!! We’ll see how much of an impact that has on proceedings. It’ll be a new look OnlyOne side with a back 3 after John Arne Riise was sent off. Winston Reid comes into the team to replace the Norwegian.

The game begins with OnlyOne FC making a quick start. They dominate possession with Modric pulling the strings early on. He gets the ball off his back 3 and advances with the ball before playing Henry in on the left. He cuts inside and looks to bend in a signature strike…



Top save from the Englishman to turn it round the post!! A warning shot for United!!

As the half progresses, it becomes clear that OO FC are fully motivated to get a result. They spray the ball around with confidence looking to take advantage of their new look front 3. Bruno Fernandes comes in field in search of the ball, and manages to play a lovely exchange of passes with Raphinha. The Brazilian receives the return pass and looks up to see Henry making a run across the back post…



The simplest of finishes of the great man!!! 1-0 to OnlyOne FC after Henry taps in from 6 yards out. The bright start results in a first half lead!!

The goal seems to rile Clrnc Smokeyy United up as the game begins to heat up. OnlyOne FC continue to monopolise possession until the ball gets fired into Yaya Toure. He sees Roy Keane steaming in and gets his body in the way to shield the ball…

Keane clatters Toure!! The Ivorian gets up smiling but his opponent seems less amused by the situation:

Whether he intended it or not, the incident in the middle of the pitch seems to have finally woken up United and they start to impose themselves on the game. Mahrez manages to isolate Winston Reid on the flank before getting inside and getting a shot away…



Great save from Alisson!! But all he can do is parry it back out straight to Anelka…



John Terry dives in the way and gets his body in the way of it!! Heroic stuff from OnlyOne’s skipper!!

Despite the close call, OO FC come right back down the other end and win a free kick in a dangerous position. Modric swings in a tempting ball into the box, but Tony Adams and Marcel Desailly both go for it!! Amid the confusion, the ball drops to Yaya Toure…



He bundles it home!!! 2-0 to OnlyOne FC right on the stroke of halftime!! It’s a long way back for a Clrnc Smokeyy side who look like they’re just waiting to get on the flight back home.

The beginning of the second half sees a tactical shift from United they look to come out in a 4-3-3. We see an improvement straight away as they look to flood the central midfield positions in order to get more of a foothold in the game.

It starts to pay dividends as we see Gundogan get on the ball more, and he gets an opportunity to play Hasselbaink in…



And Jimmy Floyd makes no mistake!! He calmly slots the ball past Alisson to make it 2-1 and bring United back into the game!!

Goals change games and this one is no different, as the tactical battle from before now becomes an end to end affair. Damien Duff dribbles down the left and crosses to Bruno, but his volley sails over the bar. Just moments later, Mahrez looks dribble through the entire OO back line by himself but the shot is charged down by Jagielka.

Clrnc Smokeyy United look to turn the screw as Son drives with the ball inside, before laying the ball off to Anelka. He takes a touch before unleashing a low, curling shot…



Another big save from Alisson!! They would’ve been out in the group stage if not for him!! A huge roar from the crowd as the Brazilian manages to get a palm to the ball.

With United going all out attack to find an equaliser, gaps begin to appear. OO fail to capitalise on the space until Henry drops deep to receive the ball, before he turns to run at the defence. As he bears down on goal, the centre backs come out to cut him off but not before leaving space in behind…Henry looks up and threads the ball through…

Raphinha makes it 3-1!!! He draws the keeper out and goes around him with ease before tapping into an empty net!!! OnlyOne FC are closing in on the win!!

As we head into the closing stages, we see movement on the United bench. But they’ve already made all 5 subs…

It appears that 2Smokeyy is walking off!! He’s seen enough!! He exchanges words with the OO bench before exiting down the tunnel!!

Back on the pitch, OO FC are in dreamland and look to keep the ball to see out the clock. The ole’s ring out from the crowd as United look a beaten side, and now without one of their co-managers. Mercifully for them, the final whistle goes.

The United players look to leave the pitch quickly after not quite recovering from their semi-final heartbreak, while OO FC revel in their 3rd place finish.

However post match scenes turn ugly as @OnlyOne sees Clrnc sitting on the bench and taunts him with his 3rd place medal:
