Okey. Another possibility is that a persons national culture has shaped him. If Part*y is a rapist this: Women in Ghana - Wikipedia may be a reasonable explanation. You are making it very easy for yourself if you only blame a rotten culture and "toxic masculinity" in the football world when a footballer is accused of rape.

I know nothing about the culture in Ghana, I'm totally ignorant on that point.

I'm not saying the culture that someone grew up in doesn't play a part in forming who they are, on some level, but at the same point I severely doubt anyone was using Greenwoods English nationality as the root cause of the alleged behaviour he engaged in.

I think broad stroking whole nationalities is a bit dubious in general.

I didnt say that national culture is the only possible explanation. Greenwood is obviously a psychopath that probably would have assaulted women even if he was a plumber. But you said that the football enviroment is the only possible explanation and thats nonsense.

He didn't say it was the only possible explanation?

Footballers are **** man seriously. Had a real life mate tell me his story with a very, very famous footballer sharing a hotel room in Madrid smashing a worldie, invited, from 3k kms away.

Appearently shared her with 2 other mates as well, like tag team.

I worked with very many high profile teams across various sports in a capacity I wont divulge here. you should see what happens at the hotels, absolute madness.

But I will say it's a poor refelction on the people of both genders involved. Modern relationships are ****ed

I wasn't trying to be a ****, I just know nothing about Ghanaian culture and anything I say on the subject is just going to expose my ignorance.

I didn't say that the football environment is the only possible cause. I said for people who have underlying 'issues' already a career in football or in fact any career with a bit of a toxic culture, being fawned over, never being told no etc is probably not helpful. The same could apply to any form of celebrity really, not just football.

It's fame, money and power not football. The sport might providee the platform but I wouldn't consider it a haven for rapists.

Seeing Twitter have a twisted game of guess who is also sickening. Just the day in life of an incel with a fan account I suppose.

Only a matter of time before it happens at your club, if it’s not an Arsenal player then it’ll be some other time. Rich young men idolised by millions, it’s a recipe for disaster.
Has sweet f*ck all to do with their occupation. I don't think you understand what a disgusting, primal act rape is. A rapist is going to rape whether they're homeless or wealthier than Elon Musk, whether nobody knows them or they're more famous than God. That's a sickness that transcends your age or what you do for work. It's literally something broken inside of a person that sees them so incapable or unwilling to contain their vile urges that they totally dehumanize their victim with no regard whatsoever for their physical or mental wellbeing.

What’s wrong with that?
I mean 4 people smashing a girl, not a prostitute but the girl did not know about the other 3.

She got invited by the footballer. Obviously at plain sight there is nothing wrong happening cause the girl is **** too but I am just saying they are animals man
If you hear these stories you know rape seems normal for some footballers.

Come on ffs. Most girls probably go there thinking they’re having sex with a famous footballer then once they get there they’re put in that position and don’t see a way out. Your average woman/girl doesn’t want to have a 4 way gang bang. Life isn’t Pornhub.

Surpised (but not really) that this has to be spelled out.

Robinho got convicted in Italy for that very reason. Girl was completly drunk and couldn't consent to anything while his friends and him had their fun.

He can't travel to Europe now, as he was tried at the highest level of the italian judiciary. Santos tried to "pause" his contract, but after the understandable backlash, they were forced to cancel it.

I think it’s you who misunderstands tbh. It’s often about behaviour and power, stop talking like it’s some innate sickness.

It didn’t need to be spelled out, I just misunderstood the initial post.

Mate, most people think when these people with power get cleared in the courts, clearly they never did anything wrong.

I mean, people still think this in 2022 ffs. Bet fans will be cheering for Greenwood when he inevitably gets cleared or an extremely low-level penalty which will attempt to dilute how horrendous his acts really were.

System is inherently corrupt to favour the most powerful men around. Always has been and always will be.
