Soft With The Ladies, Hard With The Mes

Country: Morocco
Both teams' attacks are ridiculous: Lingard/Rashford/Martial vs Pedro/Mount/Barkley/Abraham  absolutely zero excuses to finish below either
With our squad? Hell no. Emery has the squad, with a bit of luck and good management this will be a great season.

So many missing players, away game, rainy day, we’ve lost this game a thousand times. Not today. Confidence is high.

Great result. That will probably be our weakest team this season and we cruised it.

Amn was brilliant, auba was good but really lacks that physical side we need. Chambers and sok were solid and great to see.

But my god how good is watching arsenal with no mustafi in sight.

Pleased with what I saw today. Newcastle away is never easy and it was pissing down the whole match. Like others have said, it was nice to see a game with no moments of "WTF" from our defense. In that same vein, it must be said that Chambers looked good today. Quick to close down attacking players and decent clearances/distribution.

We definitely should have kept Iwobi and gotten rid of Mhki, never gonna be able to shift him on that wage though, especially when he's play like he did today.

Quietly impressed today, went about our business, the kids look ready to play a part and we're only going to get better as the season goes on, especially when we get some of our big hitters back to full fitness.

Defence looked half decent today as well. Never really looked like they were going to concede. Not a Mustafi in sight either which is always good.

Glad we got the Away game monkey off our back straight away. We've already got the same amount of away cleans sheets as we did all of last season

If Xhaka played every time like he did in 2nd half than where would all this end?
One of the best players on the pitch today.. Lovely stuff.

Very impressed, tough away game up north and missing laca, tierney, bellerin, torreira, holding ++ and getting away with 3 points and a clean sheet.

Amn, chambers, auba, guendouzi all looking solid.

If this was Liverpool the pundits would be creaming themselves screaming «stuff of Champions» ;)

The defense was solid, Chambers looked good.
Auba is world class but we already knew that
Mkhi shouldn't be in any top half team let alone ours. Sadly his contract has us by the balls.
Decent, gritty win. #COYG
