Positives and negatives.

Willock has struggled, the defence is capable of a screw up at any moment.

The midfield is terrible whatever combination we put out in terms of recovery/off the ball work rate. Having said that I felt on the ball we were pretty good (guendouzi was excellent on the ball).

Need more from the front men. Özil has been quiet, Laca has held the ball up well but offered nothing else. Auba has spent too much time out wide. Improvements for sure but the limitations of this squad are obvious.

That was such a throwback Wenger performance.. Seeing lots of the ball, lots of tippy tappy passes in the final 3rd with no end product. And of course conceding goals completely against the run of play.

Positives- We’ve played much better than in the last stretch. Negatives, our midfield shield has been non existent, and the defenders have been backing off way too much. Frustrating for sure, but a better watch.

The midfield just cannot recover. We have no speed on there. We have no recover speed in the entire back 4 or in central areas.

No matter what we do going forward, unless we address the middle of the pitch we will be countered on constantly.

I hoped Freddie wouldn't just restore Xhaka. But it looks like we need this new manager asap. People moan about AMN. But he would literally jog back and prevent counter attacks faster than any of our midfield or defence can sprint.

Our players don't know what tactical fouling is. If you need take a yellow card at the worst. During every counter-attack our players are retreating back or they are too late to track back. FFS.

Chambers has proven many times he's not suited in defense. We're not learning anything new here but we lack alternatives.

We’ve invested a lot on attacking players and been skimping on defenders and midfielders. The result should not be a shock to anybody. Emery wasn’t the only or even main issue here. Sure he needed to go even if just for the club executives to see that this team is absolutely horseshit!

Performance was better than this entire season really, despite the dumb goals.

I’m not giving too much on this game though. It’s only been like two days since Freddie took over. Encouraging signs.
