Big performances in the context of the games, he was man of the match vs United and one of our best players tonight picking up an assist for Girouds goal. He produced big moments that's nothing to with standards dropping it's the standards most midfielders are judged by and yes he put in two big performances. Put your agenda aside ffs.

Can you stop praising players when they are doing well. That is not what fans do. Start hating.

Missed the match.... looks like Xhaka did well. Great to hear.

How did Holding and Bellerin look? And was Gibbs still reasonably anonymous?

Özil look bit nervous today he made 2 bad tackles and he rarely tackles and was bit angry with himself maybe the media critics start to piss him off.

Missed the game tonight but watched highlights on Sky. Fantastic goals.

Few negatives though, looking shaky without Kos, Ox doing his usual injury and lots of stray passes again.

Will need to tighten up for Stoke

The 2nd half defense performance was more solid i think Kosh will be back against Stoke his injury is not that serious.

it's tricky though, tbf - if we're to put up a good fight at Wembley
This is why he is paid £8 million + year. There will always be a risk even in training...but if he wants prioritise the FA Cup then thats OK..play the youngsters in remaining PL see what they can offer for next year.
That was an amazing goal..sadly one goal against 3rd tier CL opposition and really nothing else this season does NOT warrant a new contract IMO let alone the £200-300k week being touted.

That money on wages gets you a Benzema, Griezman, Lewandowski, Aubameyang etc. Real match winners..This guy gets just waaaay to much credit from some fans

Just seen our game against Stoke is at Saturday we have only 2 days is wenger going to play the same line up for the 3rd time in space of 6 days? it's risky if we play the same line up our players will be so tried in 2nd half.

Not a problem if you make substitutions before minute 70. Guessing Bellerin and maybe Giroud will get starts. Might need Elneny or Coq to step in for Ramsey or Xhaka but hopefully they can both suck it up and do a job.

Then this sat we get to see Walcott play!

Alexis showing why he is the most important we have had since Fabregas. He's probably even more important than Fab was. Still don't know why we haven't just given him the wages he wants, unless its down to something like RVP wanting the team to invest in upgrading over the close season.

Also, props to Giroud IF he is willing to settle on a super-sub role next season. That role seems to suit him much better than starting XI.
