Southampton are probably my favourite club in the PL outside of supporting Arsenal. Bringing through young players, good playing philosophy, astute in the transfer market, well-run etc. Not a lot to dislike.

van Dijk, Romeu and Bertrand the standouts that could play at a higher level. Arguments could be made for several other players too.

Yeah,they're just one of those teams who aren't that good for Europe but also have quality to play in EPL every season and not to fight to stay up in league.Something like Stoke,West Ham etc.

Sterling was so so raw. There is not much difference in quality between Rodgers and Klopp I think.

Klopp will be lucky if he could get half as good season out of Liverpool as Rodgers did in that 13/14. Doubt it will ever happen with Klopp because he lacks quality as manager.

They're a massive club, always have money etc. In that club, fans are right to expect much more.

Yeah,but they dropped off in recent season in terms of league position and expetations.They were far the best team in England before EPL was formed.After that top 4 was regular and in some seasons fight for the title.Now top 4 is main achievement.
