Have to shift the focus now, we have a job to do in the PL and can forget about the CL for now.

Probably need to freshen the team up a little here but we should be winning comfortably. We're CL finalists, go there with that confidence and we'll roll them over.

I need to bring this title home for everyone.

var (in minute 3:51) : "but the foul happens on the goalkeeper before"

EXACTLYYYYYYY bingo, very good point from var when he said that

its why in the end var & ref does not care what rice & trossard did because FIRST FOUL happened to raya (watch in 3:38 when west ham player start grabbing raya wrist) which is happened before trossard & rice hugging west ham player, that is the sequence how they decide foul which is smart from var

so absolutely non sense when rival fans said "west ham should get penalty because trossard and rice made foul to west ham player by hugging west ham player"

They tried to confuse the ref, he dismissed the Trossard stuff straight away.

Posting the video in this thread as well.

Has anyone managed to guess who the West Ham player screaming towards the end is?

Truly the most crazy ending I’ve seen of an Arsenal game considering what’s at stake. I will never forget this game lol

Same. This proves that there's clearly an agenda against the club. City had 2 clear fouls by Nunez not even looked at but David Luiz, MLS, Tomiyasu and Saliba all got sent off for the exact offense....not in the box.

Of modern era Arsenal definitely. Nothing can ever top the 88/89 season 'It's up for grabs now!' finale Vs Liverpool, but as drama goes, this game will go down in history.

Hopefully it will be decisive for us.🤞🏼

I feel less confident in VAR after that. VAR didnt want to overturn it imo. The audble sighs by VAR when they initially saw the GK holding and then trying to point out the two possible fouls by Arsenal players after the holding had occurred.

Point it out, I guess, but those potential fouls are clearly irrelevant if the holding happened first. Neither the ref or VAR seemed to mention that. I dont know if they lucked their way to the correct decision.

yeppp, even west ham player made foul to raya which is happened before gabriel start pulling west ham player shirt

so foul from west ham player to raya is the first foul ever from all other foul, so correct decision from var and referee

i love how they decide foul based on sequence (which first player who made foul)

Lemme drop this here then:

Alright. Deep breath. We’ve been in the Emirates long enough now, and I’ve bitten my tongue until it’s practically numb. So here comes the long one. The rant. MY exorcism! And my hope, my real, honest hope, is that every single true Gooner feels this in their bones by the end of the week. So let’s go.

To the media. The pundits. The opposition fans. The journalists who clutch their pearls and chant, “All we want is consistency” like it’s a prayer before bed… Arsenal fans have one message for you:

“F YOUR CONSISTENCY.”

Oh, you want consistent? Fine. Let’s go to the tape.

1. Where was your precious consistency when Eduardo’s leg became a question mark instead of a limb, and you laughed at Wenger for daring to ask for protection?

2. Where was it when Diaby..yes, that glorious, silktouch footballer, had his career stolen tackle by tackle, ankle by ankle, and Joey Barton walked off whistling?

3. Where was it when Ramsey’s leg bent where it shouldn’t bend, and Shawcross saw red only because the referee actually had eyes?

4. Where was it when Robin van Persie, for once healthy enough for ONE SEASON, spent more seasons in a hospital gown than an Arsenal shirt because every time he was healthy, opposition players targeted him for hard tackles? After one good healthy season he shipped off to Man Utd then you had to nerve to troll Wenger about NOT being able to keep his best players? He believed in that Dutchman through all this injuries cause we all knew just how good he was.

5. You called us babies on opening day against Brentford. Said we couldn’t take a hit. Now we’re the bullies and now you want consistency? Adorable.

6. Where was your consistency when MLS, Tomiyasu, Saliba, and David Luiz all saw red for the same offense Núñez committed (twice!! - twice!!) (Yeah you can insert that Pep gif here too!) against Brentford on Saturday? You left your consistency notebook on Saturday, I guess?

7. When Declan Rice and Trossard got sent off for maybe kicking a ball away. When VAR refused to draw a line in a clear offside during a title run did you march for consistency then? No. You were too busy sipping tea and liking tweets and saying..."Arsenal fans are moaners".

So you know what? Whether Sunday vs West Ham was a foul or not, I want you to hear this clearly:

Arsenal fans do not give a single, solitary, flying F anymore.

You’ve spent years sneering at us for trying to build something proper, something dignified, while you bent the knee to a club that won trophies on 115 charges and accounting tricks. You preferred your winners stained rather than earned.

Look in the mirror, you beautiful hypocrites.

Who’s moaning the loudest now?

Mic drop. The dust is finally off the cannon and maybe we'd see you in a title race.

Arsenal Quotes

The English codified the rules of football just as the French perfected wine. We don't often ask an English person to come over to make Bordeaux.
