• To all AM members and guests.

For the start of the new season, Arsenal Mania has relaunched the news side of the site. All articles are written by genuine Arsenal fans with no hidden agenda. You can visit the site via the menu at the top of the forum pages or go direct to our homepage

Additionally, Arsenal Mania is now sending all its registered members a bi-weekly Briefing Bulletin containing a digest of news and views from both parts of the site. Some of you may have already received the first edition and those that haven't should do so before the big kick off against United. If you are a guest visitor to this forum then if you join as a member, you will automatically receive the Bulletin.

Please support both these initiatives and help ensure the long term future of our site.

Now that the dust has settled, who came back injured from the international games? Gabriel, Calafiori and Timber?

Calafiori is expected to be fine and Timber I think was a cut from a bad tackle and will presumably be fine too (he played on after it).

So are we starting to point any fingers with these muscular injuries this season or are we just unlucky?

It's starting to feel less like luck and more like something in our process.

I feel like it’s been discussed. Muscle injuries are already fairly common. Combine that with our high intensity play, lack of rotation, and most of the first 11 being starters for their international teams… recipe for more.

Very disappointing to hear that one of our major leaders Gabriel is out now, not as bad though with our defensive depth we've got this season though, Hincapie or Mosquera can easily come in.

At least our attacking side might be good to go finally, have a few of them ready to go again though & hopefully might score more from open play with our front line depth back next few games. Might struggle to score goals on set pieces now though, anyway, I heard some news that Timber got an injury playing for the Netherlands, is that true or just the media making stuff up, other Timber brother though if its right & be available for Sp**s?

All Arteta said after the game was "He felt something and we didn't want to take the risk"

He said approximately the same about Gyokeres after the Burnley match. And he's been out for what, 3+ weeks now?

What happened in the BTS match last night? There was a lot of smoke about some of our injured seniors playing a part (I guess Jesus, maybe Gyok/Kai).
