Don't really mind if they are in a sub forum or not, but would love custom titles again.

Also...don't think you need to create a new thread each season, just one thread for each player during their time at Arsenal.

Agreed, and lastly, as many different posters being in charge of each separate thread so all the avi's are different the better. That's all from me on this subject.

Bella Ciao.

I think the mega player threads are lazy, and invite to tribalizing opinions, where one critizing a player on a specific part of his game gets attacked, and you end up with people calling players bums, and eachother fanboys and what not. It's parts of the banter but it does get tiresome.

As such the Arsenal talk could be used to spark discussions on specific issues a player represents for the team, off field stuff, etc. Whilst the performances are covered in their respective threads.

Mega threads are nice though. It would be nice to see how players develop and opinions vary with time.

Kudos to the fantastic mod team led by our one and only @OnlyOne for making decisions like this an open dialogue. Really fights our historical anti-socialist lobby days. I vote for mega threads with custom titles.

I actually like the player performances in a separate sub-forum, it means the main Arsenal Talk space actually has conversation on other topics for the saucy dons to derail
Custom titles would be cool though

I think it would just kill Arsenal talk section though.

In addition, I would be totally fine without mega threads if the search function actually properly functioned on this site and old threads were easily accessible without having to bookmark @American_Gooner forum hack.

Just have player threads for everything concerning that player, from **** performances, refusing pay cuts, posing with scumbag dictators and absolutely everything. And it can just run and run until they finally **** off. Book closed. The End.

Yeah, that's my worry as well but then it's up to us to come up with good thread ideas. Aevius has already started the trend.

Problem you get is people just making sh*t threads no one cares about, or people repeating threads. Like that time @Oxeki made the predictions thread and it was one of the worst I've seen in my life time.

Don't mind player threads yearly so long as everyones made a different one. Could do a custom title but have [20/21] at the end so we know what year it's from.

I’m fine with the player threads in a separate sub forum - it’s just that I easily miss it. Need to get used to it again.
