Back again for the new season! Will our new signings be the last piece to the puzzle?

This thread is to compare match results against the same fixtures last season to hopefully see some improvement.

Prognosis for us 76 points? Sounds dire gnosis to me.
It's basically what we would end up with if we exactly matched the results (Win, lose draw) from this point forward. If we beat Liverpool on Sunday the new prognosis would be 78 points for example.

Next up:

Liverpool keep their luck going, meanwhile City get a little closer as they beat Man Utd where they lost 1-2 last year. With CL matches midweek we have the following to look forward to in the PL:

Liverpool - Everton (April 2nd, 2025): Diogo Jota was the hero as Liverpool edged out Everton 1-0 in the Merseyside derby last year.
Man Utd - Chelsea (November 3rd, 2024): Moises Caicedo denied Ruud van Nistelrooy a first Premier League win as Manchester United’s interim head coach with the midfielder's goal earning Chelsea a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford.
Arsenal - Man City (February 2nd, 2025): Arsenal moved back to within six points of the Premier League summit with a 5-1 rout of Manchester City, helped by Myles Lewis-Skelly's first senior goal.

Need 3 points now against Newcastle. Nothing else gonna cut it. Then also win against WH and our season might get back on track.

Next up:

All of our rivals won this fixture last year, meanwhile we lost our last two PL games at St. James Park with a 1-0 defeat. We need to start closing the gap, starting over here.

Chelsea - Brighton (28-9-2024): Cole Palmer made Premier League history as Chelsea beat Brighton 4-2 in a six-goal thriller at Stamford Bridge.
Manchester City - Burnley (24-8-2024): Erling Haaland scored a hat-trick as Manchester City earned a resounding 4-1 triumph over Ipswich Town.
Crystal Palace - Liverpool (5-10-2024): Diogo Jota’s early goal was enough to secure Liverpool a 1-0 away victory over Crystal Palace in the Premier League and ensure that they go into the international break top of the table.
Newcastle United - Arsenal (2-11-2024): Alexander Isak headed Newcastle United to their first Premier League win in five matches as they beat Arsenal 1-0 to dent the Gunners' title hopes

Arsenal Quotes

I believe the target of anything in life should be to do it so well that it becomes an art.
When you read some books they are fantastic, the writer touches something in you that you know you would not have brought out of yourself. He makes you discover something interesting in your life.
If you are living like an animal, what is the point of living? What makes daily life interesting is that we try to transform it to something that is close to art. And football is like that.
