Sp**s vs Man City

Rex’s games of the week:
Sp**s v Man City

Sp**s have kept clean sheets in their last three league games while City haven’t conceded in five league games.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see a 0-0 although I think City will shade it 1-0

Fulham vs Bournemouth

Two sides who have lots of ease scoring goals. However the reason there’s such a huge gap between the two is that Bournemouth are very solid at the back while Fulham defend like turnstiles.

Could be a goal fest or a pasting for Fulham.

Games to avoid:
Southampton vs Newcastle

Two teams that can’t create anything and will probably be playing this fixture next year in the Championship.

Great OP, City will smash Sp**s imo, they have the quality to unlock that compactness which is pretty much all that Sp**s have going for them on current form.

Chambers not even in the Fulham squad to play Bournemouth at home. Might’ve well as sent him volunteering in Uganda for a year for all the good this loan is doing him.

Glenn Hoddle taken seriously ill to hospital on his 61st birthday no less. Apparantly he collapsed at the BT studio before the games today.

Wish him the very best.

Could park the milky way, they'd still lose. Out of his depth in this division, as proven previously.

To be fair, it's hardly his fault Cardiff have championship quality players against a side which can spend 145 million on a keeper and defender who won't even be tested that much in most of their games.

For me Cardiff have adopted the right approach. A 1 or 2-0 loss would be an excellent result here.

Has there ever been a poorer PL side than 18/19 Cardiff? Bradford, Derby and a couple of the Sunderland sides spring to mind, but surely they just lacked quality. This Cardiff team lacks quality but also any remote intent to win in the first place. Never seen such a happily defeatist team as this one.

Liverpool have dropped only 4 points, and that was to City and Chelsea. They could really push City all the way. Spending 145 million on a top CB and a top keeper really makes the difference. Their depth might be a problem in comparison to City, but if they keep their main players fit then it'll be close.

It'll be much closer than last season.City is still first favourite to win it,but it can be interesting in the second half of the season when they'll play hard matches in CL and when they can't drop so many points in EPL.

Fulham are just as bad as Cardiff ffs. Weird because Fulham actually have a bit of quality, but there's a real arrogance that comes from how they approach games at this level. This isn't the Championship lads.
