Bruno is a cheat code. Can’t believe they got him for 50 or whatever.

Incidentally, Brighton are abject. Can’t believe they took 6 points off us this season.

Ole will do more than Mourinho and LVG together.Interesting.
Don't think so Mourinho won europa league ended a season with 81 points even LVG won FA Cup. Oleh still long way to go but I'll be interested to see what they'll do in transfers

Their transfer strategy as been a lot more clever recently. Mourinho was only ever thinking about the immediate with his targets. Which is alright but United were never gonna go straight from were they were to back to being the top dogs with that approach.

Yeah, also pressure was kinda off for Ole,while expetations weren't so big from him and he would always had support from fans and club while he's their legend. It was kinda different situation, but their got good transfers and he gave more chance to youngsters, while that wasn't case with Mourinho.

Mourinho had what he wanted to be fair.He spent big and changed almost whole team since LVG left.City was just too strong and than he went to meltdown in his third season as usual. With everything involed than,it wasn't enough from him.

LVG's team was with less quality and Utd played boring football. It just didn't go nowhere in end for him.

UTD seriously missed a playmaker last few seasons pogba can't play there so Fernandes is perfect for thier system and he has point to prove after few bad years at Serie A

Pogba can play there, they just needed a second playmaker. Every top team does.

It was different situation for him, while he came as big name and Utd didn't do well in his third season. He was always short term solution.Board also probably eased up a little bit since Ole came.

Is Matic past it?

Always thought he was a little underrated when at his best, was as important as Kante to Chelsea imo...people go on about losing Costa (which was a big blow), but Chelsea lost Nemanja too that season they went from 1st to 5th...quality deep playmaker.

Pathetic starting line up from Brighton. Their HT subs made it a lot better and just got countered.

He was proper box to box midfileder when Mourinho came to Chelsea and played something like Yaya Toure for City.Think that he was better in defence, but Yaya could offer more forward.

"Hard to think any player has made a more immediate impact in the Premier League than Bruno Fernandes. What a signing".

From a fan on BBC...could be an interesting discussion.

Off the top of my head Torres seemed to hit the ground running pretty well. I'm sure there's a few other examples. Costa too.
