How in the f*cking f*ck did United finish 3rd ffs. Pisses me off
Signed the best player on their team in January, got healthy over the COVID break, and saw their biggest competition (LCFC) hammered by 3 crucial injuries at once in March.

They do deserve some credit for seizing the chance (front 3 really turned it on, and will only get better, Sancho or not). But their run of (excellent) form wouldn’t have been enough without competition collapsing.

Wait a sec, if Hawkeye had worked properly and Sheffield Utd's goal had been correctly given, Villa and Bournemouth would have both finished on 34 points with -25 goal difference, so would it be decided by head-to-head? In which case Bournemouth won both head-to-heads so they'd stay up?
