Kenny Dalglish admitted he was pleased to see a trio of summer signings make their Liverpool debuts against Hull City on Saturday, but could not hide his disappointment following the 3-0 reversal.

Take a look at RAWK

The way I look at it is, had we gone out there and stuffed them 4-0 then we would have gleaned very little from the result. It would just have been a run of the mill result against a team who we perceive to be lesser opposition. About as much ****ing benefit to us as a **** flavored lollipop. The fact that we were the ones on the wrong end of the result means there's plenty of work for Kenny and Steve Clark to do in training tomorrow. I'd rather that than stroking ourselves over how great we are for hammering Hull ****ing City. Blessing in disguise this. Now I'm off, there's a right smell of bellendedness in here.

If Downing, Henderson, Carroll and Adam were Swedish or Dutch they would play for teams like Stoke and West Ham. Seriously!

Those bunch are some of the most overrated players ever in the EPL. They wont challenge for the top 4 with those players.

Suarez on the other hand is A-quality.

Clichy got knocked out, was dancing on the pitch. Balotelli either heard the whistle for off side or mucked up a golden chance. Gets benched and throws a tantrum. **** City.

I think they were playing a weakened lineup mind you. Galatasaray have a strong squad, Elmander formerly from Bolton also scored.

What’s up with the Scouse, they’ve conceded loads of goals in their handful of preseason games, three against all their preseason opposition, Guandong, Hull & Galatasaray they even let in another three against the Malaysian XI who were toothless against our team, are they trying a new system to utilise new players or just generally crap… or both?

They've used their weakest players for those games. The likes of Cole, Poulsen, N'Gog and Insua have been a heavily involved in their pre-season thus far.
