The Swansea result at home against a heavily rotated side was when I really stopped believing.

We were leading then lost it to a wrongly allowed goal with piss poor defending. Then I think Giroud had the chance to make it 2-1/2-0 but carelessly booted the ball onto the cross bar.

Coq was the only reason we stayed in that game and made the calls for Ramsey to 'just need to right partner' look ridiculous.

The only stand out game that made us look like potential champions was actually away to Crystal Palace where we withstood some serious pressure and came away with a 2-1 win. It was a very cohesive and determined performance and showed that we were up for a fight. Sadly we never managed to carry this through the season. Several games exposed our soft underbelly when we were faced with injuries and a tactically inflexible manager.

Under Wenger, we are always going to find ourselves in a situation where we go into key games severely weakened by injuries. The top managers tactically adjust to mitigate this but Wenger always wants to play the same way regardless.

This thread is not complete, with a highlights package.

Its so nice to see our scorers being so efficient.

Horrible season, honestly, had we finished below Sp**s it'd just cap off an absolute disaster of a campaign.

Early signs heading toward the transfer window this summer are good though. Xhaka is a big step in the right direction. Thing is you just never know, it's difficult to trust Wenger to get it right.

We'll sign Xhaka, hopefully Benatia and hopefully a striker and WE GO AGAIN next season.

It would have been stupid winning the title this season, we need to win it properly with a real challenge and next season is gonna be just that. ;)
