He's still better than all our current options and Sokratis. For £3 million he'd do a job for a couple of seasons at least and might turn out to be excellent value for money. We're sixth, it's not like we'll be competing for top class CB's in their prime.

Given the right manager and a few bullshit lines about being part of a project may attract some names, obviously would need to back that with high wages too.
After they sacked Pulis, they finished 9th three seasons in a row which was their highest ever PL finish. The main reason they've fallen off is because they've essentially become a landing spot for flaky players who failed at big clubs like Bojan, Afellay, Shaqiri, Jese, Muinesa, Joselu etc...

Still surprises me how s*** Shaqiri is.

Swansea vs Southampton is gonna be great. Respect both clubs, though just because of Mark Hughes I hope Swansea nick it.

Honestly Hughes is such a ****, will be great if he relegates two clubs in one season

Brom need a five goal swing which is on if City give Southampton a battering.

Got a feeling Roy will roll over for his old club next week.

Southampton’s team is far too good to be involved in a relegation struggle.

Evidence of some diabolical management if they go down.

Some decent players possibly going down.

Think Romeu is a potential star. Pity buying from within the league seems to be beneath us.

Would be amazed if he didn’t get snapped up by a bigger club. Reckon he’d be perfect for Liverpool’s midfield in particular.

Should probably put money on that come to think of it

Dad's a Baggies fan so I'll be hoping this ends a draw and West Brom pull off a final day miracle.

It's been all downhill since they sacked Monk. Their team is poverty now though, as been said Southampton have a lot of quality and shouldn't have been in this situation.

Poor WBA left it far too late and in the end have been finally relegated despite the spirited run of form.
