Doubt that they will compete with Liverpool and City when Klopp and Pep are there.Better teams, better players.

Chelsea should be happy with top 4 in next couple of years.

It’s Chelsea. They won’t be satisfied with top 4. It’s either trophies or failure with their board. This season’s a bye because they had no summer transfer window.
Lampard’s doing incredibly well but he has to deliver trophies next season.

Got to admit I wrote Chelsea off after that 4-0 loss to Utd. Thought they will be struggling hard.

I think that expetations must be lower at some point. We were also in fight for the EPL title for a long time and now top 4 is our main goal every season.Utd sacked every manager who didn't have sniff to fight for something big.

Chelsea approached this game like they were the big team facing a smaller side, we approached it like it was a 50-50 mid-table clash. Chelsea have went into this game with the correct mentality which should be the bare minimum as a top side at home to a team like Palace.

18 months* to be fair to emery he did excellent in his first 6 months its just went s**t after that.

We have different definitions of excellent. That unbeaten run was just luck, we weren’t playing well and Emery made poor starting lineups only to be bailed by subs.

Without the collapses against Watford, Palace and Wolves we'd be neck and neck with Chelsea. It's not like they're miles ahead as a team.

Still felt we were very comfortable they against crystal Palace specially the 1st half the mistakes really cost us we just allow teams to get back to games easily

Without balls my uncle would be an aunt.

Some would argue we were lucky in other games like Burnley at home, Bournemouth at home, very fortunate to come away with all three points. Sp**s at home found ourselves 2-0 down. The table doesn't lie. The performances don't lie. Look at how Chelsea have been playing, look at how we've been playing. In terms of quality Chelsea shouldn't be 9 points ahead but quality is only one part of it, in terms of how both teams operate its night and day. The benefit of having a manager with a bit of balls about him, unlike my aunt or Emery.
