Top 6 isn't that far-fetched if Southampton, West Ham and Everton stop over performing...

We not very far from top 6 it'll be close but if we want top 6 at least beating teams like Southampton wolves away because our home form not been great so winning few games would help.

We deserve where we are we lost 8 in first half of season we lucky we not very far from top 6 places
We needed a huge performance from Pepe or Auba.

Man Utd are coasting to the top 4 because of a burst of form from Fernandes.

On paper, we should be good for top 6. Unfortunately, all our players are having bad seasons. or maybe the tactics are wrong.

A good run at 2nd half of season could put us in top 4 but likely will need 40 points from 19 games that's mean alot of games need to be won

10th in league after finishing 8th last year! You've got to go back pre Arsène for that kind of ****.
Tbf the season isn’t over and 6th is up for grabs which would be improvement somewhat.

The decline is undeniable though. More or less same players and more investment as time goes on too.

The season is one of a kind, no fans for starters. You have teams that will run out of steam during the second half of the season like Southampton, West Ham and Leicester. Form is all over the shop for some, Chelsea and Liverpool are two bigger sides who seem all over the place, the latter has a big problem with injuries. The former has a fairly poor managed in charge.

Take it one game at a time, beat Southampton on Tuesday and all of a sudden we go 8th, above Chelsea ffs. Pending other results of course but its a huge boost. Lose against Southampton and suddenly we'd be 5 points behind them and they'd have a game in hand.

I'm 100% certain Arsène would've finished top four this season if he was still here. No way he wouldn't have beaten the likes of burnley and Aston Villa.

No but he would've lost away at United and every other big/semi big ground which negates beating the crap teams.

You're basing this off absolutely nothing. Thinking Arsène could turn Pepe into a world beater when in his final 10 years he didn't turn anyone into world beaters.

  • Basing off the fact that we haven't got top 4 without him.
  • Basing off the fact that we only finished below Sp**s once in two decades under him.
  • AMN, Reiss, Nketiah, ESR, Saka all emerged under Wenger and Ljungberg. It's unfair to say that Emery or Arteta are turning them into anything.
  • Basing on the fact that Wenger got 3rd in his first half season and got 1st in his first full season.
This is Arteta's best sequence of results, I think 5 unbeaten. I hope it goes on but if we can't keep this up we're going to have to win Europa to get anything out of this season.

Don't badmouth Wenger just to defend Arteta.
