Unless I am mistaken Liverpool play Chelsea at home in between the City game and playing us. So we will have an extra four days rest.

Liverpool can't give up on any of these games but their performance may dip by the third game and we can take advantage of that.

Hopefully the City game will be a fiery encounter, Klopp must hate City, and they will get at least a draw with plenty of cards and rough play. A brace of red cards each would be ideal.

If City drop points and we somehow win at Liverpool it really begins to open up for us. We have a two game cushion with 8 games to play.

You're right. As bad as Chelsea are they still can put up a fight at their ground, it's really hardcore schedule for Liverpool - City -> Chelsea -> Arsenal.

With Haaland out they’ll just resort to the false nine system they’ve played for the last two years.

Bernado Silva and Foden have both played that role brilliantly in the past. Can’t say I’m too excited at Haaland being out tbh.

Foden is injured as well. Alvarez will lead the line

I have a feeling Liverpool will beat City this weekend, and unfortunately beat us too.

Liverpool are specialists at attacking spaces and capitalising on opposition mistakes. For me, they are automatic favourites when playing City and Arsenal. This despite how well we performed against them last time out.

You beat Liverpool by forcing them to hold the ball and punishing their mistakes.

There is no way Liverpool wins at city. Even in their prime they hardly won there

Yeah unfortunately I think the best we can hope there is a draw game riddled with reds and injuries for both teams. Dippers are a different beast at home though but yet im confident of a result we have our first team out. I think that's a game ripe for Jesus to absolutely dominate imo

I expect Liverpool to be thoroughly exhausted by the time we arrive at Anfield.

They'll go from Manchester to London & back to Liverpool all in the space of a week having played 2 big clubs & a third visiting them on Sunday.

We really should be up for it & take advantage since we'll have been relatively rested in comparison.

Just have to navigate past Leeds first!!

Ive mentally written off 6pts to Liverpool and City away, to all intents and purposes they are essentially "Free Hits" (TM)

Law of average states we win at either Anfield or Emptyhad this season, which one of them? I dunno but I am 100% sure there is a win for the Gunners at one of those stadium. I can actually bet my mortgage on that.

Small wonder your moniker carries a 'free' eh...

Not sure you've watch Arsenal enough this season to think they're ready to write off any game when they have a massive chance of winning the league. We have literally gone into almost all games this season with the mentality of winning them except the cup games where it's almost obvious they don't give a fck

We cant afford to write off those games unfortunately. As much as there "is room" for those losses (and Newcastle) provided we do our job in the rest.

But ideally we need these next five wins, while we more or less still have our best available.
