Bayern takes on a new dimension for the team and us as supporters.

We need to go to Munich and secure progression. That would bring back the belief in this team that they are good enough to go the distance.

This team is good enough this season, and I think it’s important we show this.
Ability wise mostly yes. We just miss that 10% extra special something you need to go the distance....

It shows yet again when the pressure is really on we crumble like we did last year. we are not there yet and we need to accept City is. I still want to us to be positive because we are coming from a very long way.

If 31/36 points from 12 games is "bottling it" the word has truly lost all meaning.

That tiktok or whatever of that guy describing fanbases who said Arsenal fans are the most reactionary was spot on. 1 bad result and immediately there are calls that the entire team needs binning.

I can understand your point though but its more about the fact when the title pressure is really on we seem to have a lot of problems.

So the title pressure wasn't on in the last weeks?

Why it's this matchday title pressure, but the last matchdays it wasn't? It's a title race since weeks and we looked very stable and focussed in the last months.

This is nonsense confirmation bias. Why was the "title pressure really on" this week but not against Brighton? Or Luton? Or Brentford? Or City? Seems to me that the point where the pressure is on is pretty arbitrarly defined as whenever the first game where points are dropped in the final 10 games. Had we lost against City or dropped points against Brighton we wouldv'e heard how we crumbled when the pressure was on but since we didn't then those retroactively somehow become games where the pressure wasn't really on and the goalposts are shifted.

This team ain’t gonna secure a win at Bayern. Only away win in the CL came against Seville and we were hanging on for dear life

City are on for a double treble.

How tf is anyone supposed to win the league ffs 😂

Only have ourselves to blame tbf.

Fulham, West Ham, Villa twice and Newcastle were all winnable games had we played to the best of our ability and finished our chances. That’s 15 points right there.

Tbf every big team's most visible online fanbase is like that nowadays, the internet in general tends now to promote the loudest most reactionary voices in any given subject. We might have been a bit ahead of the rest due to AFTV being relatively unique at the time and it's viral popularity among other fans laughing at the loud idiots, but everyone else has caught up now. Everybody with a big following has some moron streamers/content creators now who post over the top crap every week, mostly to be consumed by rival fans and 12 year olds for amusement.

This is our first league loss in 4 months as well so some perspective needed.
Using the word "collapse" to describe our current state removes any meaning from the word. What is our form in the last league 12 games? 10 wins, 1 draw, 1 loss? Phenomenal, league winning form.

If anything short of winning every game for 6 months is a "collapse", then we are not operating in reality.

Still, we are at a point in the season (and Premier League history more broadly), where any dropped points are extremely costly. The margin of error to win the league nowadays is near 0. These dropped points undoubtedly hurt us, and put immense pressure for the remaining games. That being said - whoever thought we wouldn't drop any points prior the season's conclusion was kidding themselves.

We’ve had one loss in the league since December and are now 2 pts behind. What is actually the point ?? No wonder Klopps had enough
Cant even bring myself to believe they won’t win all their remaining games cos every game you’ll be disappointed when they go 2-0 up 😂

It's mad that we have lost our first game of 24 and the conversation of bottling it is already on.

It's terrible having to compete with this City, who can rotate the whole squad without any problem

I get it but there’s a reason why they’ve won 5/6 PLs. Having to be near perfect isnt easy. Games like these are bound to happen …
We needed to keep it to 3 rather than 5 though which I’ve been saying since December..
Although it also feels to me like if we had found a way to win them they’d find a way to have won 28 games by now too lol
