Instead of this Dubai thing why not give the players time off? A real way to recharge batteries and boost morale among the team. Instead they’re put to more work.

You can't give players 10 days off in the middle of the season, rhythm is important. I'm sure it will be very light training over there

Also warm weather training has a lot of health benefits in terms of muscle recovery etc.

A holiday and time off for what reason? 😂 let these man have a few senzu beans and step into a hyperbolic time chamber in Grimsby.

The last thing they need is good weather for underperforming.

Agreed!! We need them recharged to take down this most dangerous of all threats!!

At the moment I'm not even going to look at the league table unless Liverpool drop points. Too big a gap to start fussing over it.

Does this mean I gave up? He'll no but I'll repeat what I said earlier in the season. Liverpool aren't this unbeatable team and they will definitely drop points. It all depends what we do. So far we haven't shown any evidence we can go on a 6, 7 or 8 winning game run. Until we do that for me there is no point thinking of a title challenge.

We are in good shape.

Pool is a good squad. But a 6 point lead with a game in hand isn't some monumental task to achieve. Especially since it is only February. Slot knows. That is why he tanked the FA Cup game. They are going to need all the rest they can get with League Cup final, PL and CL race.

No more cup games suck, but we got a nice needed break this past week. Made the top 8 in CL too, so that helps as well.

If we could close the gap to 3 points or so by the time we go away to Anfield the match would be absolute fire. Needing a win there to stay in the title race would create an epic game.

They have to work on tactics. How to deal with low blocks. They can relax a bit but need to bond and build that seige mentality for the final push.

And then Newcastle at home after.

We've got Leicester away, west ham at home, forest and United away.

I agree with you I'm looking at that and thinking Liverpool need to drop points in three of those games.

After that we've got Saka back. Looking at this happening

Liverpool - P28 - 64
Arsenal - P28 - 60

That would be Liverpool winning two, drawing 2 and losing one whilst we win 3 and draw one (probably forest)

And then in the last 10 games we have to beat them at Anfield and then hope they drop points away at Chelsea or at some random team.

Hope.
We may just have to win all four. To win the league you have to put strong winning runs together of 6,7,8 games not just the 3 or 4 that we manage. That's the difference between just being a champions league team and actually winning the flipping league. Last season we hit league winning form ....but only too late.

We've been in situation before so we will just focus on our selves and keep grinding out the results, Liverpool are a pulled hamstring from Salah away from capitulation.

One thing we've been good at under arteta is that we've never been overly reliant on one player to get the goals. Everyone has chipped in.

Interesting to see what happens if anything was to happen to salah

I hope Everton batters this lot or at least give them a run for their money so Slot can't rest any players.

Think they will find a way there.

The best Im hoping for are draws to Everton, City and Newcastle. That should give us a chance provided we do our business of course.
