So many thoughts come to mind seeing this.

But number 1 is: Arteta, they could never make me doubt you

It's crazy, I've just seen that we have the smallest squad in the PL with 24 players. Out of 24 players, 2 were always injured (Tierney, Tomi), 3 quite injury prone (Zinchenko, Jesus, Partey), 2 on their last legs (Jorginho, Sterling), 1 back from ACL and 2 they couldn't have planned with properly at all (Nwaneri, MLS).

If we had a fully fit team, i reckon we win it. Our fixtures are very favourable imo. Need to muddle through.

Think the only way we remain in this title race is if our defence can step up and go on a run of cleansheets and we can manage to nick a goal in each of those games. From now till when Saka and Martinelli are back will hopefully be a series of 1-0 wins. We've got the defensive quality to do that if we focus on it, it's gonna be boring as f* but this will be the compromise we'll have to make if we want to make something out of this season.

Is it true we have only 4 games in PL and the CL round of 16 before Saka and Martinelli are back?

Before the international break kicks in -

Liverpool -

Wolves (H) today
Villa (A)
City (A)
Newcastle (H) 26th Feb
Southampton (H) 8th March
Newcastle final 16th March

Arsenal -

West ham (H)
Forest (A)
United (A)
Chelsea (H)

They've really crammed Liverpools fixtures in.

Ah damn that’s right, usually takes a few weeks more.

I'm not mad at it from the players point of view, gets a bit of extra rehab on a bad injury. Can help us for the last 8 league games and hopefully the CL quarter final as well.

The question for me is where does Nwaneri play when Saka is back? Because for me Nwaneri must start now.

CL Rd 16 as well in the midweeks of 4/5 March and 11/12 March

So Liverpool has 8 games to our 6.

My ideal scenario here -

Liverpool draw today and then lose against villa mid week. We beat west ham next weekend.

26 played on 58 points.
26 played on 56 points.

Liverpool then play City away next weekend. Negative result would mean we can go above them with wins against Forest and United...

It's all about this week. If it doesn't happen this week then next set of dodgy fixtures are in the final month.

I actually agree with you for once, I don’t think it’s over. The big test is Forest (A) for us, if we somehow leave there with 3 points then I’d back us to win the title.

Obviously it’s not in our hands but I’m not fully convinced by Liverpool as good as Slot has done.

Really a worry for later. Would worry about Nwaneri staying fit with the amount of senior minutes he has to play now.

He will get plenty of minutes rotating with Saka and Martinelli while they ease back in and hopefully keeping them all fresh for the run in.

People have been screaming for Saka back up and now we've got it they're still not happy

Arsenal Quotes

Religiously, it is said that God created man. I am only a guide. I allow others to express what they have in them. I have not created anything. I am a facilitator of what is beautiful in man.
