Even if Newcastle beat united and palace in this DGW they would go 3rd and 6th place would be on 54 points. Meaning we would have to lose 3 of the remaining 6 games whilst all those other teams win every game which isn't possible because a lot of them play each other.

We've got Ipswich away, id be shocked if we dropped points in that one. We've also got Southampton away last game and they're one of the worst teams I've ever seen. Palace (H) and Bournemouth (H) back to back should also be at least 4 points.

I expect us to finish on 74 now. 3 wins, 2 draws and a loss.

The maximum City can finish on is 73 if they win every game.

The fact most Arsenal fans who always moan about every point drop just didn't even react about yesterday tell you how much this league season is over for us. Even the supporters at Emirates you feel there no energy in league anymore just want this season done players look not arsed and opposition make it worse by keep playing deep block we already bored and they make it 10x worse

Yet despite that I'm disappointed because last tow games we should have got 6 points not tow. Dropping points against teams who not even trying and you in winning position is most annoying thing no matter if your season over our players need to stay in the game

Even if we get less points, we've lost 3 games whilst the other teams have lost 8 or 9 games. Theres almost 0 chance we drop out of the top 5 now.

Chelsea/Villa both on 54 points so one of those would have to overcome the 9 points deficit, villa play City and Newcastle back to back. It just isn't happening, terrible terrible league this year.

Maybe the humiliating spectacle of that will have Tets pull his finger out & actually recognize the major deficiencies this squad suffers from, proceeds to address them & then we can leave Pool in our wake next season along with every other club.

To finish 4th as an example -

City would need to win all games to finish on 73 points (wolves (H), Southampton (A), Bournemouth (H), Fulham (A) )

Forest would need to win all games to finish on 75 points.

Newcastle would need to win all games to finish on 74 points.

If we win all our games we finish on 79 points.

I don't expect us to win at Anfield so immediately we are down to 76 or 77 points max. I expect us to win at Southampton on the final day I also expect us to get at least a draw from Newcastle. Meaning the max they can now finish on is 71 or 72 points.

It would take a monumental **** up for us to finish 4th, we basically just need 1 win and 2 draws. Forest and Newcastle aren't winning every game, even City I think drop points once more.

Don’t care whether it’s 2nd or 4th but I think we need to finish above City. Bad look if we fail again, might affect mentality somewhat going into the next.
