Don’t care whether it’s 2nd or 4th but I think we need to finish above City. Bad look if we fail again, might affect mentality somewhat going into the next.

Id be shocked if we didn't win any of our remaining 4 games.

To finish 4th as an example -

City would need to win all games to finish on 73 points (wolves (H), Southampton (A), Bournemouth (H), Fulham (A) )

Forest would need to win all games to finish on 75 points.

Newcastle would need to win all games to finish on 74 points.

If we win all our games we finish on 79 points.

I don't expect us to win at Anfield so immediately we are down to 76 or 77 points max. I expect us to win at Southampton on the final day I also expect us to get at least a draw from Newcastle. Meaning the max they can now finish on is 71 or 72 points.

It would take a monumental **** up for us to finish 4th, we basically just need 1 win and 2 draws. Forest and Newcastle aren't winning every game, even City I think drop points once more.

You expect a lot of things, but the fact is we don’t win in the league right now. Team seem unable to focus on two competitions.

City have 4 piss easy games left and are hitting top form, while we still have to play Pool away AND Newcastle who will have all to play for. Bournemouth is cramped in between PSG fixtures, highly doubt we win that game

We also don't lose.

It's more to do with the lack of quality depth for me. Anyway, city may have 4 piss easy games but I think we win two of our last 4. Southampton and probably Newcastle.

We don't deserve 2nd place so man city finishing ahead of us doesn't make a difference. We doing our best to not finishing 2nd we only need 6 points from last 4 games so city can't finish ahead of us because our goal difference is better and yet I can't see we getting 6 points because we focusing in CL we have Newcastle who fighting for top 5 and Liverpool and with the way we going I expect like one point max so it'll all depend on Bournemouth game

Us and city have same amount of wins too that's sums up how average we are this season. Our players just wasting wins we wouldn't be that worried if we didn't f**k up crystal palace and Brentford games we'd be 10 points ahead

Silver lining is that Liverpool will not sustain this pace for another season without reinforcements. Their fans were complaining about FSG not caring about Liverpool and not investing money into the squad in past summers so lucking out with an injury free season and running the league without a challenge will placate the fans for a bit. Will they go cheap again this summer and the fans will eat it?

City aren't going to sit still so the pressure is on Berta to make quality moves. We have to improve to push beyond this season's pace. We sign all of these defenders yet run Gabriel and Saliba ragged. We leave our attack thin and pray Saka can keep the whole thing together with twigs and bubble gum. Multiple players struggle (Martinelli, Ødegaard, and Kai) yet there really isn't anybody to give them a few weeks rest to figure things out. We'll need Berta to convince Arteta he doesn't need certain players or provide alternatives that make more financial sense.

Arteta made adjustments to his system and style three summers ago, tweaked it two summers ago, and this past summer seemed to rest on his laurels a bit. Although, Edu failing massively to make adequate summer moves hindered us, immensely. I'm expecting Berta and Arteta to be much more in tune with each other in terms of understanding what the squad needs going forward compared to Edu's whimsical style.

When will Edu's relationships in Brazil benefit us, btw? Still waiting.. (FRAUD)

With your constant besmirching of Arsenal Invincible Edu, your boy Berta better deliver next summer or else I will be on your presumably tubby American neck bro!

Remember your predictions from December, then January, February and go on... 😂😂😂. I can't stop laughing when I read that "perfect run" we were going to have according to you to reach how much points? More than 90? 😂😂😂

Do you remember when you posted something that was full of decent football knowledge and constructive? Yeah me neither.

Was a guard of honour back in the day just the first team who played you after you won the league, or was it everyone?

Maybe Mandela affecting myself, but feel it just used to be the first game.

First team that played you after you’ve been crowned champions from what I remember. It’s optional, so I don’t even know why Liverpool fans are making a big fuss out of it.

Chelsea will probably do it next weekend.

Guess it is good banter to get the 2nd place team to do it for you to be fair, extra little victory for them.

I would much rather win the league at an opponent's ground than get clapped onto a pitch lol, think that shows more dominance.

Don't think anyone else won the title at Highbury...but we have won it at United, Sp**s and Pool (and I also think at Chelsea in the 30s too) take that every day of the fooking week!

I just realised we’re going to have to give Liverpool a guard of honour. So humiliating.

I hope they do. Also hope Arteta has himself and them on their knees for it, the club should feel the pain and humiliation and use it to spur us on next season.
