Always 1 step forward 2 steps back or in Tets words:

1 Mdfielder in with 3 Goalkeepers and 4 defenders at the back
How many GKs Arsenal has in squad?
Raya and Neto.
You think it is too much?

How many defenders would you put in back 4 (how Arsenal usually play)?

Thats in terms of the summer business.
Neto replaced Ramsdale.
Setford is U21 (don't count him)
Arsenal bought 1 defender (Calafiori), 1 midfielder (Merino) and 1 attacker (Sterling).
I would like additional forward player, but this is what is.

Left criminally short. Top 4 battle incoming.

We will finish 2nd , any talk of battling for the top 4 is silly. I'd be confident we could elite defense our way to a title if we were up against anyone else but this iteration of city.

But we have a team full of young players who will have another year of getting better, and we are in all the cups. Will be a fun season regardless.

I never understood this kind of talk. Liverpool 3 years ago finished with 92 point and the season after everyone was saying them or City. They finished with 67 points the season after.

Chelsea went from 3rd to 12th. I keep saying this all summer just because you finished in certain position one season doesn’t mean you can’t finish way below. Football history has shown when you have very clean injury record one season you tend to have the opposite the season after. We are gonna have our injury season and the squad is not big enough to cope

Ok at the VERY worst we finish third.

Well, at least those talking about top 4 can drop their standards and relax now. We just need 70+ points and we are there. That's another 22 wins getting us to 73 points, doable, because we can even lose the rest.

2nd place finish? Id say another 24 wins and around 6 draws. That takes us to around 85 points. Doable as well.

We could focus more on the league cup and FA cup as well, get those trophies in.

I don't understand how you could come to the conclusion that we weakened our squad

In terms of numbers, it’s definitely been weakened. 22 squad members I believe have been registered.

The argument will be made the likes of ESR and Fabio weren’t contributing, but we just refuse to rotate and give squad players a chance to contribute.

When the cup games come around and we have a handful of injuries (like right now), we’ll wish they’d actually been replaced.

Obviously we made some quality additions in the summer, but not enough and with the outgoings the squad overall is certainly weak in terms of numbers and quality in depth.

Draw on Sunday and lose to city and write 7 points behind.

Title challenge could be all but over in September
Still too early tbh. There’s a lot that can change as the season goes on. We’ll have got two of our harder fixtures out of the way. We may hit a winning streak around Jan-Feb which can push us up quickly. Let’s see

Bet Arsenal is depending on City getting that points deduction this year. No other reason for us to not strengthen our attack in the summer otherwise we're looking like a ticking bomb injury wise.
