Our title challenge depends on how the January Transfer window goes.

Any BS around lets strengthen in the summer basically means we've caved.
Who do you want? There's barely any quality out there tbf

I’m sorry but why would their motivation go away? Everything isn’t about contracts, you know. If they have a clear chance of grabbing another PL-title before moving on, be assured they’ll be motivated
Financial reasons. Let’s say hypothetically you’re VVD and you’ve signed a pre-contract with Real Madrid for 350k pw. You’re not going to go into 5050 challenges and jeopardise injury and risk losing lots of money

“By the break here Arsenal were running at 13 goals in their last two and a half games, nine of them assisted or scored by Saka and Ødegaard, with Saka’s personal tally three goals and four assists. Ødegaard’s return hasn’t just been a boost. This has been a homecoming. It’s the end of The Railway Children out there. Daddy’s back, walking out of the steam in his tweed coat and homburg hat. And everything’s going to be different now.” [Guardian]

The other important thing, which City get very lucky with every year is having a last 10 league games that are fairly straightforward on paper.

Last season our last 10 were so tough, but we did really well. This season our last 10 are all very winnable except Liverpool at Anfield...

Their run from March onwards is very favourable as well, you certainly don't want them being in and around the top by start of March.

If we cannot beat this Utd, then we have no business to be contenter ...

They always give us problems - we obviously should beat them but even at their worst and with us being really good right now, the games are always far tighter than they should be.

@Synical After my two-week meltdown I've decided to be done with being a little baby and stop crying.

Why am I gassing Liverpool like they're the unstoppable City of year's past?

9 points at this time of the season, against a team like Liverpool who imo can capitulate at any given moment from now until May is not that deep.

Liverpool Is going to win the league, they are mopping the floor with city. +9pts difference, they should do an Arsenal to bottle that advantage. Funny thing is all those retorics about the process goes to the bin trash because their manager is demonstrating how you don't need 5 years to compete and win the title.

I wouldnt be as giddy mate.

Still lots of football to be played here, not just this season but this game itself.

Arsenal Quotes

I believe one of the best things about managing people is that we can influence lives in a positive way. That’s basically what a manager is about. When I can do that, I am very happy.
