Premier League 2024/25: Our Title Charge

Liverpool is not Tottenham. But it’s pointless to even look at Liverpool or think of title race. We have to just focus on 1 game at a time and we have to improve a lot. We are playing dogsh1t and we not beating many teams in the league playing how we have
Didn’t play dogshit today, but you don’t know ball

Why can't anyone put it context the teams we've played?

It's set up for us to win in the next 27 games.

Mark my words, we are 3 points behind Liverpool by new year.

We could have positioned ourselves better but I did not expect City to lose 2 in a period we played Bournemouth A, Liverpool H, Newcastle A and Chelsea A.
City got 6 points and we got 2. I expected a gap of 3 but I can live with 4 with the end of November.

I expect Liverpool to lose 2 games and draw 2 games from their remaining fixture
Southampton A: W
City H: D
Newcastle A: L
Everton A: D
Fulham H: W
Sp**s A: L
Leicester H: W
West Ham A: W

Fixture City:
Sp**s H: W
Liverpool A: D
Forest H: W
Palace A: W
Man Utd H: W
Villa A: L
Everton H: W
Leicester A: W

Our fixture:
Forest H: W
West Ham A: W
Man Utd H: W
Fulham A: D
Everton H: W
Palace A: W
Ipswich H: W
Brentford A: D

Standing come January:
Liverpool: 42
City: 42
Chelsea: 40
Arsenal: 39

And 86 points will win you this year the title.

I think we'll end up finishing 2nd or 3rd. We made a few mistakes but we also got a very bad string of breaks between injuries and refereeing decisions. That's how life works sometimes; it's not worth losing sleep over. I trust Arteta and this team to go on a deep run and maybe we can win one of the cups.

Mathematically we're still in it, but from when you are saying that you already know it's not looking good brev.

The league is won by winning home games, and not losing away.

We played Villa, Sp**s, City, Newcastle and Chelsea away and we lost only 1. A total of 8/15 while not losing against title rivals (City and Chelsea) is a good return.

Liverpool on the other hand played Man Utd and Arsenal away and got 4/6. City played Chelsea and Newcastle away and got 4/6.

So yeah did we not drop points against Bournemouth and Brighton because of the ridiculous red cards, it would have been much better.

But to write us down because our difficult fixture is just ridiculous. Last year when we had our run, we only had to play City, Sp**s and Man Utd away in the second part of the season.
This year, we only have Liverpool and Man Utd away to play in the second half. Why could we not go another run of 16 wins out of 19?

Its not over mate, as bad as it looks now.

It would require a mammoth effort from here though, which we have done before. The question for me is not whether we can do it again (we can), its whether it will be enough.

We cant be in a position in April where one loss costs us the title again, that's far too close.
What odds would you put it at @SA Gunner?

Don't think it's a good idea to talk much about the title. We're in big hole after a very challenging first few months. But a lot of tough games out of the way. Just think about doing as well as we can from this point forwards.

No team has ever made up that deficit, so I guess it’s all hope from those clinging on at this stage but I respect it, y’all are built different.

Knew the title was over a few weeks back hence why I completely checked out of this season. Can’t even be bothered to watch our games let alone think about winning the PL.

I never seen top 6 team has hardest fixture specially away from home than us. It's insane first 11 games we already played City Sp**s villa Chelsea and Newcastle 😅. What we did to piss them off.

If we get 4 points from Chelsea and Newcastle we'll make push for title race

You forgot Liverpool as well!

We've already played the likely top 6 this season all away from home other than Pool!

Few weeks back we only had our first defat to Bournemouth and were like 1 point off the top

I just posted the points thing as they’ll have to do something that hasn’t been done before to win the title however a few weeks back it was more about quality than anything else tbh.

I was giving them the benefit of the doubt even though I wasn’t a fan of either but the likes of Martinelli, Havertz and Jesus stepping in just aren’t title winning attackers.

This idea tough games are out of the way and now we got easy games. The way we playing right now there are no easy games. Shakhtar home was supposed to be easy game. On paper it doesn’t get easier than Southampton home and we were losing at home 65 mins played. We been average all season. If anything we got more points than our performances warrant

You defeatists are annoying me because we've lost like 7 points through fraudulent ref decisions. You're painting us as crap and hopeless when we would have been in a really good position without those

We would have been 4 points above City and 2 behind Liverpool

Liverpool are most consistent team in league everyone else dropping points

So it's in thier hands. Us and city playing catch up that the reality

City are playing catch-up. We're not in this race.

We have neither the men nor the mettle for it.

All of those ref decisions was correct. But i guess it makes life easier to blame the ref.
