The race isn't really in our hands anymore. It may be mathematically, but we have 0 momentum. Man City smell blood, and their new signings of Guehi and Semenyo have reinvigorated them. They have to drop points against Newcastle this weekend but even if they do, I just don't have any confidence in this team to get the job done anymore.

Arteta will receive most of the vitriol for this and this is definitely his last chance.

But these players shouldn’t be able to look themselves in the mirror. What a bunch of weak little cowards. We’re in ****ing February and they’re absolutely terrified.
he deserved get mocking in every second from media

There's no reason for the race to be over but it is because it's mentally over for these players and the manager.

This exactly. The players should be ashamed of themselves. Look at our run from Liverpool onwards when City were almost dead and buried. ****ing cowards the lot of em.

Maybe Im on some cope ****. In fact I know I am. But imo, the last hope we have is Kai coming back and playing up top and Ødegaard returning from injury 100 percent fit and getting back into that midfield and Saka moving out back to the right. If we see this and don't succeed, then we're not succeeding at all. But imo Arteta HAS to try this. We played the best football under him with those 3 guys playing pivotal roles. Its my last hope honestly

Brentford away can happen but this one is incredibly damaging. Players and manager already shaking in their boots with fear and this will only make it worse.

I thought the team would be more experienced and more focused after what happened in previous seasons but we don't look up for it. It's hard to see us coming back from this

Look everyone deep down we all know it. That's why us as fans were so edgy.

This manager can't get us over the line, his control freak anxious management style creates pressure instead of taking it off. Hence we implode every single time.

I can guarantee when we're 4 points behind City we'll go on a winning run to finish second.

This is an Arteta DNA team. Ødegaard is the manifestation of that on the pitch and we see how much of a coward he is.

Lads it's over, we deserve th stick we're getting. We don't deserve to be respected. We just don't have the balls for it. Hence why we get mocked.

We have become the new Sp**s under this manager.

Yeah, same here.

I said before the game that we need to batter Wolves to reinstate confidence after all the talk about us bottling it again all week.

We went the exact opposite direction by blowing a 2-0 lead against them. Literally the worst case scenario except for conceding another and losing it.

City will be favourites now. This is a real bottle job. This is what happens when you win nothing for 5 years I guess, the pressure becomes too great. On track for another average points tally. As people have said performances will pick up once City have a 4pt+ lead.

These super low xG numbers our opponents always have show that we're not doing that much wrong tactically.
I think it's clearly a mentality issue. We just lack that "You can't beat us" mentality to strike fear into our opponents. Even last placed Wolves were confident enough to come back against us ffs.
