City haven't been good enough to pressure us on their own, but I think there is a ton of pressure because we haven't won in 22 seasons and have been at the top since October. We look like a team under massive pressure.
I stand by the fact that even though there's an element of pressure/bottling, the real issue is we actually aren't good enough. Liverpool under klopp I'm sure felt the same pressure but they had an insane attack to get by.. we need an elite attacker immediately.
Our top goal scorers goals have won us about 3 points..Our attack is absolutely awful & we can't sustain pressure ..

All that said I'm still delulu and think we'll do it 😂

The NLD couldn’t come at a worse time. City beat Newcastle and Sp**s will be right up for this, theres no fanbase that wants to see our title hopes go up in flames more than them, and by beating us they’ll play a huge part in doing so.
Sunday will be the biggest game, and test, of Artetas managerial career.. So far!

I could give a monkeys arse about Mastercards cup and the fa cup. Seriously. Because it's a final you go strong with in the Mickey mouse cup but after that send the fa cup to the moon. I don't care if we start 11 16 year olds don't give a ****.

ONly focus should be league matches and cl. The other trophies can be booted to the sun for all I care.

I don't even have any to analyze anymore about mentality. This rot is beyond mentality issue

Our open play is dire
Why is Timber so high up the pitch

our set-piece has been thoroughly analyzed and scrutinized but our coaching team failed to diversify the routine.
Brought in a long throw coach, hardly ever used them, and instead got caught by Brentford
Direct FK is never seen again this season

we only got ourselves to blame

Arteta has only ever been critical of the team after we start playing hoofball, acting scared to build from the back, and dropping super deep in games. The buck does ultimately stop with him for the team's performances but I don't think "aimlessly kick it long and defend deep" is a direct message coming from him, I certainly doubt his half time talk today would have been telling the players to do just that. I think the players are simply to used to relying on the defense being sound so anytime we face a bit of adversity playing our passing game when winning they retreat into a "well lets just not do anything risky and they probably cant break us down". That mentality does see us get over the line a good bit of the time just because we are generally very solid and well drilled, but it does also beg for the oppo to create a bit of chaos and see what happens.

This is not necessarily absolving Mikel of blame because ultimately it's his job to get the players playing how he wants, but I think the players deserve a fair bit of the blame as well for these repeated performances.

yeah i remember Sp**s under poch when they have prime kane and prime dele ali, they play beautiful very very very very brave attacking football & very devastating because they attack through middle for a lot times week in week out, and shot a lot outside the box

their attacking football similar dangerous like liverpool under klopp but the difference is somehow Sp**s always bottled and won nothing in every season

Lets just please get this one over the line so we can finally get this ****ing monkey off our backs. You don't come 2nd 3 years in a row, not win a title for 22 ****ing years - despite being one of the premier teams in England, with one of the biggest fanbases in the world - and not have serious mental scars and traumas that haunt you in the present. It's so ****ing clear that this team is just a nervous wreck.

I can't say I don't understand it tbh. Like I said, coming 2nd 3 years in a row, knowing this is probably your last chance to get it done, I'd be a nervous wreck too, hell I'm a ****ing nervous wreck now. But maybe just getting one over the line will be enough for us to finally take a ****ing sigh of relief as a club.

This squad has to persevere or there will be changes this summer. If Arteta has ever truly meant what he said about caring about the players, about them being family, and if the players have ever truly cared about Arteta... nows the time to really show it. They need to overcome this because if not, this family **** is over. The squad and management team will go through wholesale changes if they dont get this done. Im certain of it.

if arsenal win the league this season there is bigger than "arsenal finally win major trophy or finally arteta prove us wrong"

because if arsenal win the league then they will save a lot people live around the world which is so important imo, i read so many comment in twitter after this match basically most comment they said "i want ki*l my self"

i am not trying to be dramatic but this bottled lead 2-0 against bum wolves (who guarantee relegated) is insane head loss for a lot arsenal fans (not me)

It’s now or never for this squad. They’ve been handed a golden ticket at a league title this season.

It should have been a comfortable league title win, but they’re determined to make it as difficult as possible.

The League Cup final will have huge implications, if they win - they may feel they got the ‘monkey off their back’ and relax a little. Lose that and we’ll likely fall apart.

There's no guarantee they'll go the distance even if we emerge triumphant in the League Cup final.

They're just frightened little children led by a spineless, craven con artist.

Arsenal Quotes

In 1997/98 we became English champions as I had set myself three missions to carry out which I felt were essential. One: to have an impact on the result and the team's playing style. Two: to foster the player's individual development. Three: to strengthen the structure of the club and enhance its global influence.
