I said after the wolves draw that if you compare our attack to City’s we’ve got a very slim chance of the title.

Have to hope they continue dropping points because all of our games are going to be and absolute torturous slog because of our Europa league level attack.

If we somehow manage to get over the line this will be the worst attack to ever win the premier league, by some distance.

This is why the defensive players are beyond reproach.
Gyokeres, Saka, Trossard, Eze, Ødegaard, Noni, Martinelli and Dowman would shine like diamonds with a decent attacking coach.

What a bleak day, feeling pretty low right now have to admit. Any optimists here that could give me some reasonable reason for optimism?
We can't be this bad all the time. We had a bit of a cushion so hopefully now we will get the four or so wins needed to clinch the title. City are still likely to drop a few more.points.

It's truly pitiful.

Unless Calafiori is playing we also lack tech at full back. Midfield areas nobody can play an incisive pass aside from Ødegaard who is in terrible form.

Gyokeres, Trossard, Martinelli, Madueke, Havertz. That's 5 of our forwards who are also incapable of high technical ability. You then turn to Saka who is also off form and currently not looking good fitness wise.

It's pretty dire.

Wenger didn't endure humiliation for this.

Those calling others bedwetters, cry babies and not proper Arsenal fans need a reality check hence why I’ve very rarely criticised those who were pessimistic throughout the season.
As @dashsnow17 says you can tell when a team feels like champions. The last time this team ‘felt’ like champions was at some point in 2025.

I’ve always backed the more pessimistic posters on here who want the club/Arteta to prove them wrong rather then blindly supporting something that to be honest, just doesn’t fill you with the most confidence.

I have a post in here from about two months ago saying that I know City won’t win out but I don’t think we’re going to do enough on our side either. It’s playing out exactly as I feared and the crazy thing is you could argue we’re fortunate to have some of the points we’ve gotten in this calendar year. We’ve been poor all year.

It feels pretty awful at the moment but momentum can change fast and the margins are small. A couple of draws for City away at Chelsea and against us next week and we are as good as home.

Thought it was telling enough when Rice said some months back "if you can't win, don't lose". It's the wrong attitude, in just a five game sample you'd need just two wins to be better off.

If we lose next week and Arteta still has a job next Monday then we are done as an ambitious football club
