Xhaka? When was he anywhere near to be the best player of Emirates era? Rvp, cesc, Özil, Alexis, Santi all better
Nopes. I have made the case in the Xhaka thread. You can read there

Cesc rvp snakes. Özil alexis pushed out. Santi injured and exited without making full impact.

Best player was Özil but i said greatest. Xhaka held it together in midfield while we transitioned, silenced the rabid fans, won trophies and went on to be an invincible and leader elsewhere even coming back to underscore the point in the PL

Edit : also thank you for taking the bait 😊

I know we shouldn't scoff at the fa cup, our favorite trophy. But being out of it is actually good now. 1 game per week for both PL and CL suits us perfectly.
If anything, we should have dumped it a lot earlier.

I honestly thought the team was capable of handling 3 or 4 trophy hunts but the Carabao cup & FA cup just turned out to be completely wasted efforts.

Arteta should look to strategically rotate through the remaining PL games to keep players as fresh as possible while securing 3 points each time.

The players' conditioning by the end of the season will determine whether we add the CL trophy to the PL one.

Honestly call me crazy but after today, I believe that we will win the title. I expected City to bather us with 4-0, having a huge GD difference. Yet if they get a narrow win against Burnley, we will be favorites to win it.

We will go on a crazy run where we will score more goals than City. We have already bottled it, the pressure is off. It is not in our hands anymore. We will be much more open, playing higher on the pitch. Attacking more. I truly believe that. I predict a 4-1 against Newcastle and 4-0 against Fulham. While City will only manage a difficult win against Everton. By matchday 35, I predict us to be top with 3 goal lead.
Just quoting myself,

This was after our game against City. Sure we did not batter Newcastle, but by week 35, we would be top of the league with the morale of playing the CL final.

West Ham game is huge, maybe even bigger than the semi final against Atletico.

However, I believe that the PGMOL would want to Arsenal become champions. And we will get some help. Why?
- 115 charges.
- EPL winners after 22 years would give Arsenal so much morale boost that we may win the double. And with potential 3 EPL teams winning Europe, they would prove that England is the best league in the world.

So for that, they will help out little by little.

Yeah our schedule is ideal right now. 1 game a week, not leaving London until the league season is finished. We've also managed Saka's minutes well.

There's no need to rotate anymore. Play the most in-form 11 the rest of the way. Even at the end of the season, players don't need to be rotated when they play only once per week.

Our starters should be running their socks off for 60 minutes, and then we bring in the closers. Our bench guys are gonna be better than most of their starters. Our starters will tire out the opposition so the closers can finish out the match

Our attack has obviously improved. But another improvement I noticed is that the defense was not nervous at all. They tackled and cleared without with cool, unlike the games we played in April.
Saliba almost gave an assist to Atletico and Calafiori was done a few times, including once when had Gabriel not been foul before it would have been a penalty. Still did well but there were moments

I see no way of City not dropping points in the Bournemouth game.
With Iraola leaving and European places to fight for, I really do believe they might even beat City.

That should confirm that any potential parade would be on Monday 1st of June right? The monday after the CL final? I want to start looking at flights to London. A bit annoying you can't find any official info on this.

They have to arrange with the council first which is why they can’t do it now.

Do what? Official info? Regardless should expect to be 1st of June based on how it's usually arranged no?

Was thinking on going Friday the 29th, try and catch the screening at the Emirates for the final.

I've heard from a good source that the parade will be the Sunday after the CL final, 2pm/3pm.

But need to win at least 1 trophy first!
Cool, like I said I'm looking to fly in to London on Friday and stay into the next week so should be fine regardless if it's Sunday or Monday. Nothing is done yet of course but us living abroad need to plan ahead, I don’t think it's a good idea to wait til the final day of the league season if it comes down to that. 😅
