Yeah I think that doubt comes from the fact city have won the title like 3-4 times on the last day. 2 of which I believe were in insane circumstances.

You’d think all that financial doping and they’d win titles more clear cut.

But yeah they have that aura about them. But that’s when the game is in their hands ie goal difference or need to just win.

In a perfect world we shouldn’t even have to worry about that as we have two winnable games ahead of us. But I get this weird sense of dread and fear too sometimes so I know how you’re feeling.

I would be more confident if the last match would be at home for example just a inner side feeling which should not be like this but it is. I just wish and hope the players show their quality on the pitch because we are the best of the rest on our day.

So goal difference is now out the window.

For it to even go to goal difference we would need to ofc add 0 GD in a game by drawing one, and city would add at least 2 GD by winning their 2 games.

If we were to beat Burnley by let’s say 2 goals, we would only go 1 goal difference ahead of city. So they would beat us on it if they won both games even 1-0 and we drew to palace.

Even if we beat Burnley by 3 or 4, city would need to beat villa by 2 or 3 goals to win out. Easily done by them, they’ve done it before. I’d have no doubts they’d score a last second winner to make it happen as well.

So that option is now gone unless we decimate Burnley by like 6+ goals (unlikely).

We win this league if we win our last 2 games, it’s easier I guess for the team to have a clear goal and mission.
