I'll back him to finish first this year. We have added quality to our team, which should at least be enough to turn a lot of those draws into wins. Also we have Gabriel Heinze to keep our vegans on a strict red meat diet.

@Sapient Hawk favourite thread is here. Can we finally break through and win the Premier League? Or has our window of opportunity closed for now?

Just to show that my convictions regarding the superfluous nature of this thread haven't changed one bit, I intend to do so once every page from now until the end of the season. And to get the inaugural ball rolling...this is such a pointless thread

I think we will be contenders for the title, depends on how lucky we are with injuries, injuries of opponents, referees, tactics, new players adapting etc...

Also, it's quite interesting to see @Synical backing us for 1st, when you know we will probably have a PGMOL special on opening day at Old Trafford

We need to aim for under 30 goals. Play slow, save and be solid. We have one of the best individual quality in the defense I have seen for long time.

Defense wins you titles.

Good that admin is putting it out there in the begining of the season that injuries and bad refereeing is a legi excuse. Expecting the @mods to follow up on that forcefully and ban everyone who think otherwise!

Don't 😭
I always start the season excited and innocently hopeful. We've seen this script. Three weeks in I'll be jaded and cynical again.

IF we can stay fit and Ødegaard remembers he can shoot a football I think we'll do it. We have the best back 5 in the league and with the addition of Zubi and if Martin can return close to his 23/24 levels, we have the best MF in the league as well.

Tbh we have the squad to deal with several injuries now I think we'd need to be extremely unlucky or suffer another PGMOL special to not be there or thereabouts come the end of the season.

Must win something this year, or I think the noise will become too loud. KSE probably happy with status quo but with the amount of money invested it is fine to demand more.

Going to be the hardest year in terms of competition since we've been competitive for the league, but strangely enough it's the season where I'm most confident we will get it done.

This is it.

Its gonna be close, Pool, Chelsea have bought well, City have Rhodri back. We have a stronger squad than last year, but is it enough as it stands. Not too sure.

Arsenal Quotes

The English codified the rules of football just as the French perfected wine. We don't often ask an English person to come over to make Bordeaux.
