Perry Groves said he was glad we went for the win against Villa. Even though it didn’t work, this approach is better than settling for a draw. But I think the Villa loss will scare Arteta back to his cowardice ways. Only way we win this league is if City collapse and don’t reach 80 points

Yep I agree. I’m not usually someone who goes big on predictions but I’ve told my whole work lot that if we keep injuries at bay we win this. Announced it moments after we lost to Villa.

It’s just that we’ve spoken about injuries quit up for months and we keep getting fresh issues. It is making me lose the hope that we can have our whole squad properly back.
Until Gabriel, Saliba, and Havertz comeback. Arteta needs to manage Rice, Zubi, Timber

You're setting yourself up for disappointment expecting city to lose there. They're entering that mode of the season where rivals hope they drop game but they just keep ruthlessly dispatching the opposition until they grind you down.
Liverpool fans know it well and we should know it well by now. They're gonna drop very very few games between now and May. You can tell when they have the bit between their teeth and its starting.
Besides palace are pretty toast right now, even utd won there a couple weeks ago

Conceeding 6 goals in 2 games, 1 of which at home to newly promoted Leeds and to Fulham is ruthlessly grinding opponents down?

This City side has lost multiple world class players and not replaced them particularly well. They're on target to conceed 40 goals and to get 78 points. And their fixtures are going to get harder. They may improve when Rodri comes back, but he apparently hasn't looked the same so far.

Certainly hope so but they're winning games and scoring late goals and scoring goals for fun too. Were struggling and conceding late goals albeit to stronger teams. December onwards is when they start to improve and click into gear. Despite the fact we played tougher teams I think we'll look back on this period where they got the late winner to Leeds and gvardiol cleared off the line to get the win at Fulham, in conjuction with us conceding late to Sunderland and villa and failing to beat 10 men chelsea a sliding doors period.
If you break down ours and city's away games by the home form table it's actually been pretty even in terms of fixture difficulty. Both played near enough the same number of sides in the top 10 of the home league table plus they've already been to the emirates, their title rivals, and we've to go to the etihad.

I don't think that's sustainable. We've had games with small margins where we won too. On another day maybe something goes in against Villa and we take the 3 points.

As for hard remaining fixtures, they've got to goto Sp**s, Liverpool, United, Chelsea, Palace, Forrest, Sunderland. They've actually got Chelsea to play twice, where as we have Bournemouth to play twice. Our away games are easier on paper bar the City game.
